 Kelsey's alarm goes off at 4:30 a.m. She springs out of bed and puts her barn sneakers on, not bothering to change out of her pajamas. She jogs down to the barn in the cold morning air and feeds Tori. Then she rolls his heavy tack trunk out to the front of the barn and checks it another time to make sure she had everything. While Tori finishes his breakfast, Kelsey jogs back up to the house, grabs an apple for herself and an apple for Tori, grabs her suitcase and travel bags and runs back down to the barns. By then it is 5:00 a.m. Saddle appears at the barn shortly afterwards and feeds the other horses. Then Kelsey helps her bring hay out to the paddocks and take the horses out. The new broodmares dance eagerly in the morning air, ready to be turned out in their new home. Then Saddle and Kelsey turn out the other horses. Once all the horses are turned out, Kelsey takes Tori for a long walk before bringing him to the barn and putting his shipping bandages on. Then she puts his shipping halter and head bumper on and changes him into his medium weight shipping blanket. She leaves him in his stall with another flake of hay and goes back to his tack trunk and her bags to make sure she has everything. By then it is 6:30 and Shayla would be there soon.........
