 Suzie stared at the wall infront of her. Jon? Asking her to a dance?. She had never been to a dance with anyone in her life. She usually sat out or stayed at home. “Ummm… Yeah OK” She said. “OK! See ya there” Jon said. They said good by and hung up. Suzie stared at the receiver and didn’t hang it up. Jess walked into the room. She sat down on the couch and picked up a book. Jess walked into the room and flumped down the couch. “Well” Jess said happily “Mikki said I could be his second girl for the evening” She said “But I guess I’ll find another boy when we get there and let Alli have her boyfriend to herself” Jess said in a rush “who are you going with?” She asked , expecting the usual Oh No one. “Jon?” Suzie said still looking stunned. “Come again” Jess said. “I’m going with Jon” Suzie repeated. “Your going with Jon” Jess said incredulously “but but what about Cassidy”. “They broke up so he asked me”. “Well lucky you” Jess said “Jon’s cute. It looks like I’m the only 1 in the family with out a boyfriend”. Suzie smiled weekly. “C’mon lets go pick out an outfit for you” Jess said enthusiastically and dragged Suzie upstairs.
After a little while they were both dressed. Jess was wearing a sparkly, lavender, halter dress that rested mid way between down her thigh. Her long light brown hair was falling down around her shoulders and clipped back on 1 side. Suzie was wearing a white miniskirt and an aquamarine spaghetti strap top. Her laired blond hair was swooped up in a twisted bun on the top of her head with a strand falling down on the side of her face. Both of them looked stunning. They both put on a touch of make up and lip gloss. Jacob burst into the room without knocking. He was wearing casual clothes that still looked neat and clean. “Well are you girls coming or not?” He said. Jacob was going to drive them to the party. “We’re comin’” Jess said. Both girls followed him downstairs. Helen was standing at the door. “Be safe and Have fun” She said, surveying her pretty daughters and her handsome son. The told her they would and walked out to Jacob’s Metal flake blue convertible. They hopped in the back while Jacob got into the drivers seat. He started the engine and they drove to the club!
