Isn't this the episode where Scully's friend asks her about the possiblity of a romantic relationship with "that guy you work with?"
And Scully answers something like: "I don't know; he's good-looking, but kind of. . .odd."
I thought it was interesting that, even early on (and despite what CC was saying at that point -- and for years to come -- about not ever wanting any of the viewers to speculate about the possibility of romance in the MSR) that other characters were already speculating on the possibility of romance between Mulder and Scully! I also thought it was nice that they had Scully acknowledge that Mulder was good-looking, I mean she's not blind for heaven's sake. . .she certainly couldn't have been unaware that her partner was an extremely handsome man.
