And Scully's devotion and belief in him always saves him from doing or becoming something stupid and/ or self-destructive. Scully always stands by him when he seems to have forsaken her and she is the one who always brings him back to believing in himself again. eg. Phoebe, Melissa[from Field of Dreams], the Foul one. Any others.
I don't know if I have this ep. I might go see if it's on one of my old tapes. Do you think Scully was at all jealous here?
