Hey, there...finally someone who has ACTUALLY seen JW's work too. As you noted CC can't quite his the Whedon mark...but a snort to you for even comparing this drivel with "Once More With Feeling"...sheesh!

I mean, Joss paid homage to broadway by copying the successful musical styles, "Rent", "Guys and Dolls", etc, in each different number. And then he uses the internal story to not only move the overall plot of the Season forward but to illuminate the hidden inner world of all the characters and give us a good clue to the patterns they would follow all season long. Pretty damn good for a man that never wrote a song before in his life. And in no way even in the same ballpark with this episode's mish-mash of so-called plotline, stolen lipsync melodies and half-assed attempts at character development.

But I didn't find this one nearly as bad as I have found many XF episodes for soooo very long...I managed to talk about this episode successfully with another FORMER fan, we were trying to build up some enthusiasm for the Series Finale...finally, he asked me to record the Lonegunmen One for him and if it is any good he will watch it. So, there is a slight tip of the scales with this episode for the people who have totally given up on CC.

Rabid/Raeann
wondering who your favorite Who is...Tom Baker? (I mean EVERYONE says TB...but I am a PD girl myself...or more accurately a Tegan Girl...cause, as I noted, I come from a long line of mockers). I also liked Jon Pertwee...he was probably the coolest, Tom the smoothest and Peter the most bedeviled.
