Well, I didn't mean the whole ep was a take off on Once More With Feeling. It wasn't an all musically ep, although music was a main feature. I found it funny that on their way to the garage, Monica & Scully are accompanied by a tango(or whatever it was-not big on pre-50s music) instead of the usual creepy/danger music.

I love Buffy/Angel and think JW does a great job. They're both lighter in tone than TXF, the dialogue is a hoot. Each season has a different tone and setting in some cases. I became a fan about the 3rd season of Buffy, thank God FX got all the old ones, I needed to catch up.

However, I'm not so sure these current seasons are to my liking. I think Giles absence from Buffy leaves a big void. He was the adult contrast to the kids and he knew all the threats they might face. The Buffy/Spike thing was perhaps fan wish forfullment after his rejection last season. The Geek Squad is funny but they got all serious now that they've killed someone. I thought Willow's magic addiction would lead to her fighting against the gang. Now I see its probably Anya who'll do that.

Angel having a baby was a little much (still burned by Scully's baby). And him pining for Cordy all of sudden. I think both shows will run out of romantic entanglements soon. But I still watch both and think the seasons will hit their stride at the end.

I'm not going to get too excited about TXF finale. If its great, I'll be pleasantly surprised. If it sucks, I didn't get too worked up only to be let down.

Tom Baker's first 3 seasons and some of his last were great. His 4th, 5th and 6th were on automatic pilot here and there. The show had been criticized for too much violence so it was toned down and humor was increased. The Colin Baker years had a similar goofiness to them. I love Pertwee and Davison too. I'd say Davison had the best writting on the show. I thought McCoy's 2nd and 3rd years were improving especially with the writers putting mystery back in the Doctor's character. but it was too little too late. I'd go with Tom first, Peter second, Jon third and the rest is hard to judge with the first 2 so hacked up. Colin is dead last for me. Who are your favorite monsters or villians?
