I was lucky enough to have sailed on the SS Uganda twice, the first was about 80/81, my second trip was the first sailing after the ship had retured from the Falklands, we sailed from Southamption to Cadiz in Spain and for a couple of days we had John Craven on board doing a report for Newsround.

Just noticed somebody referred to Action Man, i remenber him well, i also remember watching Rocky 3 in the cinema.

My other memories included hot chocolate in the restaurant of an evening, stupid lessons during the day.

My most vivid memory was being washed down one on the decks by a big wave whilst sailing to cadiz, very scary.
