Subject: Uganda stuck on sandbank, Dundee 1976

 This was my first trip on the Uganda, it was a National Trust holiday, August (I think) 1976. We had to wait for hours while the tug boats rescued the ship. The Salvation Army arived with food while we waited on the dock. I met some lovely cadets, still think of them to this day. Elton and Kikki had the song Don't Go Breaking My Heart and Rod Stewart's Sailing was in the chats too for the second time.
