I was on the same cruise, remember the seas as we left Malta, were so bad they could not get the pilot off and he had to stay until Greece. loved running along the decks as they lifted and dropped - never got seasick and loved it so much I joined the Merchant Navy at 16 and am still at sea. Remember Kalimnos as a load of the boys bought firecrackers there. We were actually the last full cruise before she was seconded for the Falklands Conflict, it was a great time and a shame they do not do something similar anymore as was a great experience at such a young age. Will not mention raiding the girls dorms and getting into trouble during cabin inspections...
