 This is a very old post now, but I'll update in case anyone is still looking. Memories came back as I was scanning some old slides.
I was one of the Canadian kids on the cruise, but because of a lack of bunks I got put in a cabin with three others instead of a dorm. One of our group had to leave in Napels I believe with what was said to be apendicitis, but we could have just been told that.
I remember early in the cruise there being lots of flooding early on and being practially thrown out of my bunk.
It was December of 1977. We left from Athens, then to Rhodes, Haifa, Crete, Napels, Gibralter and finally Ceuta.
