Have fond memories of Gosford Hill School, Kidlington's school cruise April 1974. We flew to Naples to join Uganda, saw Pompeii, then on to Greece to visit Olympia. Next stop was Crete, but couldn't land because of bad weather (although I seem to remember the teachers and the 6th form pupils managed to sneak off in the evening(!). Visited Tunis, then Gibraltar, then home. She didn't look quite like the photos when we first saw her, but by the time we had to leave, I knew I would never forget her. Very sad ending to a ship that had brought so much pleasure to so many people.
