>I was on that one- Jan/Feb 1978 (Ashleigh School,Sheffield) flew to Malta and came back from Venice. We were supposed to be going to Rhodes but it was too choppy to disembark so we went to Navarino Bay instead- and I still havent managed to find it on a map!

I almost bought one of those dodgy camel whips but swapped it for a leather one in time...still got most of the mementos...brought them home for my mum - and somewhere I have photos, my sickbag, badges and study guide complete with various /autographs/ from others who were on the cruise too. The food was lousy, I got airsick, seasick

>metal mess tins? And we werent allowed anywhere near first class- I recently saw photos of the posh accommodtion- nothing like our grotty dorms! Great times tho, I wouldnt trade them for the world.
