The cruise i went on was and Easter cruise We flew to Dubrovnik, then sailed
to greece,(Itea) turkey,(Izmir) haifa Israel and then to malta (valletta)to fly home.
It was amazing, I was hospitalized for sea sickness, the smell of the food was awfull, it didnt taste so bad as it smelt. The places we visited were amazing.the sunsets even better. we bought some ouzo and guess what, we got drunk. oops. First time we had cornetto, it wasnt in england at that time.
After lights out a friend and i managed to do a tour of the
ship without getting caught.(dared to!!)
We drove through tel-aviv and went to visit all the places in the bible i.e. river Jordan, sea of Gaililee and the road to damascus etc., We learnt the words of hava nagila hava and to this day i amaze my kids lol. i bought some turkish delight as presents but they never arrived home with me.hungry, and alabaster egg... not sure of their purpose. Worry beads and a silver ring from Malta.
we were suppose to have lessons, but im sure we treated it as our holiday and not an educational trip. I made some great friends from other schools, i just wished i could remember their names......and i fell in love (puppy love)
think his name was warren.Just got a few pics left of a distant memory and a gold badge. Having had all my pressents including a ocotopus and things pinched when we had to leave our luggage. Thnx for this site, memories are precious . No one can take them from you, (only old age lol)
