 I was aboard this cruise along with my parents in the posh area! and I certanily remember this cruise very clearly even though it is over 30 years ago!
the storm was told it was the worst for 25 years, not being able to get into Egypt and the rudder being bent on leaving Limassol and sailing round in circles outside the harbour. Then the cruise being stopped in Athens instead of Split in Yougoslavia. Stiil we did get a discount on a cruise for the next year which we took up. But unfortunatly that was the last cruise I did on Uganda as the next year she was in the Faulklands and then scrapped
