Me and my sister from Binley Park school in Coventry went on a school cruise on the SS Uganda in the silver jubilee year. We sailed from Liverpool up over the top of Scotland to Bergen, Norway, then to a Fjord (cannot remember name), then down to Stavanger, Norway, then two day trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, then up to Oslo, Norway, then sailed back to Sunderland. Great memories. I remember winning the frog race comp. and being given a silver trophy for my trouble, then having to be displayed in front of the whole school in assembly by the head master. I wasn't happy about that. Lost all photos from then and would be great if anyone has any photos and memories from this cruise that they would like to share.
