I was on that trip with you, with a party from Saltash Comp. I cannot believe that I was allowed to go shopping for stamps in the Souk in Algiers, unattended: I remember showing my teacher the stamps I bought when I got back to the ship. I don't think that would happen today... Some girls (maybe you were one of them) laughed at my tiny little nipples in the pool and I wouldn't take my shirt off in public for ages after! Disco had Family and T Rex songs. Happy days. Like you, it left me with an urge top see more of the world, and the idea that there was more than Cornwall! Great VFM - we were encouraged to pay in weekly installments to split the cost.
