 Hello Hoot. Were you,by any chance, one of the survivors that evacuated the Hinsdale to the USS {Pickens -APA 190 ? I was a medic aboard the Pickens and remember that we took over the flag and the Commadore. I do not remember his name. I would appreciate anything you can offer. I am 76 + now and in good health Hope you too are doing well.
