 Greetings All,

have just located a newspaper clipping that states my Dad was home on leave for seven days after completing boot camp at US Naval Station Sampspn,NY. The article was dated July 3, 1943. From this, I was trying to determine his company .. and the closest I could come up with was Company 260, whose photo was as of the end of June. Were Company photos taken at the time of "graduation"? Was not sure how long boot camp lasted back in 1943. Many thanks!
