Julian bobbed his head up, blonde falling in front of his eyes, hiding the growing and immediate annoyance he found at voices interfering with his own behind his wall of books. Green flared momentarily, a twitch of ire pulling at the corner of his saliva-slick lips, tongue wetting natural pink as it moved across his bottom lip. Jean-clothed knees drew up and were set down in subconscious respect of company. Fingers flexed and set the paperback book down, brows narrowing with the downfall of his hands. Anger swelled through him as her attention switched rather quickly away.

At that moment, Julian was half-glad. The silence seemed to dwell back into his ears. Yet his limbs were ghosting above the table, steady breaths regaining themselves, hoping that she’d found that someone in another corner of the fucking library. But no, even more had to hinder his train of thought. Yet again she spoke, and this time she was answered. She’d drawn far enough away to be quiet, but with the voice that joined the words mingled like the buzz of flies inside his ears, ringing with exaggerated intensity.

Julian slammed his hands down on the table, cover of the book making a loud slapping sound. The table rumbled, books shocked by the force of Julian’s hands. He stood up, a menacing sneer on his face at the both of them. But at that moment, Julian did nothing but stare at her partner of conversation. His fingers dug into his palms as he looked upon them both, the menace draining and replaced by surprise. And not a rather happy surprise either.

Though, it was tediously washed away by a haughty annoyance. “Sorry if I interrupted your therapy session,” He said snidely. “But see, I hadn’t been informed of your royal arrivals so I was trying to read. Thank you both for your consideration, your highnesses."
