That's another thing that I find disturbing about the current Repugnican administration -- they are balls and tits with the fundamentalist Christian movement which doesn't put much stock in scientific knowledge that doesn't square with the Bible. When you will not consider that it might have taken more than 144 hours to build the earth, it's easy to ignore things like the ozone hole, global warming, and the idea that some guys just don't like girls. And of course when you're going to church every Sunday and preparing for the world to end so you can all go to Heaven, the idea of taking care of things and saving something for your children's children's children can get short shrift.

Armageddon here we come. And it all starts in the Middle East? Whataya know about that?
