Subject: Supermarket Pet Peeve/Stress Inducer

You missed one of the supermarket pet peeves. How about the Cashier Trainee who is posted on the Express Checkout Lane?

This lane is supposed to FLY, yet the supermarkets always stick their trainees there. "Manager to 12 for an override. Manager to 12 for a check. Manager to 12 for a void." Come on! Put the trainees on the lanes where the Old Woman In A Shoe is stocking up for the month by filling two carts with macaroni and canned hams, not on the lanes which are supposed to move quickly!
