I am thrilled that you guys are back in Austin, but you have got to get back on the Radio at 5 with a highlite from the prvious day, and then live at 5:30.
I was turned on to you guys while working, well maybe not turned on to, but yours was the only station I get really well inside the building I work at. Anyway, you guys have grown on my like a bad case of crabs. Please get back on earlier, my mornings at work are terrible.

What in the world happened with JB and Sandy? I don't understand what the issue is at Wild 100. Didn't this happen before and then JB and Sandy were brought back? Wassup with this? And I am sure it was a surprise to JB and Sandy too, as they were supposed homeowners here. Ok, Wild 100, you guys dropped Joey Dee too and hmmm. Look who is back.
Bess is a great personality, but I can't (no won't) listen to just her, even with Tim and whomever else was on the air at the time I tried listening (to see what was up with da boys!). Sorry it was chemistry thing & it worked with the guys, you know, the original pair: JB and Sandy?
I'm glad at least Austin still has them. . .

JB and Sandy , My boys and want to welcome you both back.I sorry though that Bess and Tim did not come along but things worked better for them what ever thier decison were. My sons who are 7 and 9 , were very sad to here that you might not be back . Thats why we love your show because my kids enjoy it and the things yousay to everyooone are not inapproprit.. We listen to you all every morning .. Glad you back.. WE have been listenig to you since 1997 from diffrent arears . The boys did ask me when they did not here Bess , where she was. They loved her laugh and especially when she tried to say that "Snake Saying" theylaughed everytimeshe tried I love show as well. When the listenr's call inn you really are very genuine in what you even if thats not what I agree with .A lot mof times when topics come up I have to take a look at my life and somtimes realize that I am in the same situation as the caller is.Myself and sons WELCOME you both back. OH , JB congratulations on your daughter , she is precious > you and wife are going to mbe the best parents. I love how you have really been there for wife . Most , men do not appreciate their wives before,during and after the birth of their child . You did great. Some day , I hope to find a man with as much concern for the well being of a FAMILY.. i am so sorry you guys are no longer in dallas. i even called wild 100 the first week and valentine lied and told me you guys were on vacation and he hoped you two would be back the next week. well, i waited and to no avail you guys never returned. former messages are correct, bess is really trying but look what she has to work with. absolutely no comparison-once you've worked with the best....
jb and sandy--we will miss you tremendously but good luck in austin. i'm going to a folk festival in kerrville the last of may and will look for your station as we go thru austin. in the meantime, it's back to cd's in the morning--too much bubblegum stuff going on in the mornings here in dallas. you guys sold me on the way you never harped on anyone or tried to break peoples spirit. good things will come your way--karma.

I went out of town about 2 weeks ago and when I got back, JB and Sandy were no longer a morning show. I was pretty upset because that was the best morning show. I am not real wild about the new show, they play too much music and it isn't a "morning show" anymore. It is not that I don't like the DJ's, it's just that I really liked the way that The JB and Sandy morning show was designed and I really liked them with Bess. Please let me know what happened.

I normally do not write email to morning shows or Hell anyone, but I have
been wondering on why you and sandy are not on in DFW anymore. I have
gotten a lot of people to listen and tried everything I can. Is this your
vacation that you have been talking about for months, or did they just cut
yall for no reason. Well basically all I can say is that the only time I
listen to the station was when yall were on because I do not want to listen
to an MTV wannabe station with the music. I like just rock, or rap.
Basically just saing if it was not for yall I would never listen. But if
you can just email me back so I will know if I should take 100.3 off my
memory or not.

Look, I know you have probably heard this a million times already, BUT DALLAS
MISSES YOU!!! I cant say how much I enjoyed every minute of the laughter, So
much laughter that I had to pull to the side of the road some mornings i was
laughing so hard! I miss the Megamix and even Sandy's quirkey way of
interviewing people. Ill never forget that crazy psychic! I just wanted to
drop an email to you guys to let you know how much I will miss you! Bess is
totally different now, because you two arent there to tell her whats what!
Anyways, I hope that everything is great down in Austin, and I hope the baby

Hi JB & Sandy. WHEN you were in Dallas and I was working in Corporate America, I listened to yall every single morning on my way into work. However, I am now working later in the day and miss the morning show. I tune in early this morning and I hear this new show on. I see that yall went back to Austin - which is fine, but why did you have to leave us behind? Were you not still being heard in Austin too? Why can't you live in Austin, yet still Air in Dallas? I love Bess to pieces, but it just isn't the same without you two guys. I first listened to Kidd, then Joey Dee, then when he left and yall came on (I didn't know you but soon got addicted) went back to listening to Kidd and then listened to you all the time. Guess it is back to Kidd. As I said, I love Bess, but not the same with out you guys. You will certainly be missed and I wish you all the best of luck. You had/have a lot of fans here in Dallas. Never forget us.

Well, we were very shocked to find out that ya'll moved back to Austin
without telling us goodbye. I'm sure it was some political something at
the station that made you unable to tell us.... but we waited the first
week and were thinking it's just spring break and you're on vacation, then
the second week, we were thinking, well, some people have spring break one
week and some the next week.... but when week 3 came and you weren't there,
we knew you were gone for good. So, I called and Tim told me you were gone
back to Austin.... and he even asked me, "what's wrong, do we suck that
bad?", which, of course, I had to reply, no, but we just love JB and Sandy.
I have written ya'll before, and told you that my fiance and I were hooked
on ya'll.... and now, are since married.... and bummed out that we can't
wake up to you both everyday......
Hope things work out well for you and we just wanted to tell you both that
we miss you and good luck.

My husband and I are building our own house (so we own it and it doesn't own us). We're here after eleven years active duty Army. I've been here in TX for ten years. I was raised in Oregon, so I don't sound the same as everyone else. Kids are six to sixteen. And life is goooooood!

Why are so many people bad mouthing Bess and Tim now that they are gone? Maybe you liked them, maybe you didn't but they were a huge part of the show and I am sure JB and Sandy will miss them. THis show is supposed to be about good people and everyone is saying negative things about the people that did not go to Austin. I am sure that Bess and Tim made the right decision for themselves. I am sure they disagreed with the "suits" in Dallas but going to Austin wasn't a good decision for them and we should respect that. Why are so many people using this board to bitch and be negative and rude? There is always going to be change, it's a part of life. I wish the listeners and true fans of the show would show a little respect. It seems that some people are just jumping on the bandwagon, so to speak, and only liking the people who are currently part of the show. JB and Sandy, we are obviously glad you are back in Austin and you will obviously be missed by your Dallas fans. Good luck to you!

Welcom H O M E to da boys! While I DID listen to the show here in Austin while they were broadcasting from Dallas, I was really jealous and felt like Austin was a step child. Toward the end, when they were saying that they couldn't even mention Austin or acknowledge callers from Austin...that was soooooo sad and unlike JB and Sandy! I wanted them to be back in Austin, talking about Kim Phung noodles (haha, today) and the Coppertank escapades, singing "TO MAKE YOU, MAKE YOU LOVE ME" with Tom Jones from their studio in the hills...now I actually GOT MY WAY. You should have seen me scrambling to get a radio here at work on the day you came back. I had taken it home when the show went off the air.
I truly believe that the JB and Sandy Morning Show is a top quality, big market show. I think that it needs to stay in Austin, broadcast from here in syndication on a bunch of radio stations with the SAME TARGET AUDIENCE. I think the "WOW" or whatever they were on must have been a country station or something...I'm not going to be mean, but their callers were, um, not like Mix listeners. Okay also people around the country are so curious about or in love with Austin that the show wouldn't even have to pretend that they were in the city that they were being broadcast...just keep talking the same way about Austin happenings. A little unsolicited advice from someone not in the radio business...hee.

I hope this isn't crazy. I NEVER call or e-mail the radio station! But I just heard this morning that you guys have a 4 month old baby. I do too and I don't know anybody else who does. All my friends don't have babies and they don't understand why I have to bring her everywhere and they honestly don't call as much anymore. So if Erin is interested, I'm looking for a jogging buddy (in a few weeks when my baby can sit in a jogging stroller) and just a couple that I have something in common with that my husband and I can hang out with. I've been wondering what happended to Jb & Sandy. But after reading this message board I see that they have moved back to Austin. I will really miss you guys. The Dallas station is just not the same. I listened to you guys every morning and now the morning show is ok, but not something I look forward to everyday. Bess is still great but she's not as funny without you guys. I've been listening to the gang for a couple of years. Every morning like many others I was glued to the radio. I moved to Fort Worth and with my new job I did not have to wake up early for work but my alarm would go off at 6am and I would lay in bed listening to the show.
I heard JB and Sandy are back in Austin because of some Dallas "suit". We could always call in to the Austin station MIX 94.7 (512) 390-5974.

As a longtime listener from the San Antonio area, let me just say how glad I am that JB and Sandy are back on the air! Honestly, it just didn't matter (to ME) that much whether the guys were in Dallas or Austin...as long as I could pick up their voices through the static. ;) I'm really glad, though, that JB and Sandy are back in an environment where they're comfortable and happy. It's silly, but in the few weeks of music-only mornings on MIX, what I really missed most was hearing Sandy say what time it was every couple of minutes...ah, it's the little things in life.
I'm disappointed that Bess chose to stay in Dallas, but I'm super-happy that Chris (Steakboy) was able to make the move. He's so much calmer than Tim and reminds me of JB in a lot of ways. (And that's a good thing!)

Welcome back, J.B. and Sandy!!! I hear ya, Dallas ain't all that great. I never lived there but I visited a couple of times (just to see what it was like, driving around (and almost getting my car squashed), etc.).
I said in my email to Jim Robinson that you guys are so good, you should be nationally syndicated like Howard Stern and make tons of money. As Stern's base station is in New York, Austin's KAMX could be the home base of a national show. The whole country should be able to hear your show!
Glad that Steakboy is on board, too! He's funny, and you should immediately bring back the Ode of the Day, with Steakboy performing the odes on his guitar. Sandy, you and he were the perfect team on the odes -- I laughed so hard...also love the Megamix. The Dallas stiffs were clueless as to what people want. I would also say you should do more "stunts" like when Bridget made ya'll eat baby food (one of the first shows I listened to) or like when Sandy rolled over the Big Mouth Billy Bass with his truck (I think that was THE funniest moment on the J.B. and Sandy Show). Get another good sidekick like Bridget (Bess was okay but I liked Bridget more) and the show will be rockin' again.
As for this Supermouth idea, I'm not too sure. First of all, the past couple of days have been the weirdest experience I've ever had listening to radio. Jim Robinson took an awful risk in putting nothing but a heartbeat and some sound bites on the radio for FIFTEEN MINUTE blocks. I didn't know if there was a technical difficulty or what. I don't know, I think Mr. Robinson was counting on our morbid curiosity to keep listening to this heartbeat just to find out what was going to happen. Mr. Robinson also created a whole phony campaign for a "new show" called Supermouth, which was a clever stunt, but for what purpose? He didn't have to test our loyalty to J.B. and Sandy or whatever he was doing; we would have listened to you guys anyway (just give us the freaking program!). He even had the gumption to declare Supermouth as "the next level of radio". "Is this [the heartbeat] the next level?" I thought. The heartbeat totally creeped me out yesterday, like the sound of the world ending. Please don't ever do that again.
But now that I know what Supermouth is, I still don't think it's a good idea. KAMX is actually going to hire someone with no radio experience to be the next supporting cast member of the J.B. and Sandy Show? And if that person doesn't work out, will we be hearing yet another person the following year? (Haven't there been enough changes already?) KAMX can't find a professional D.J. to hire? I have a communications degree and I don't even feel I could do radio; video is my gig. Moreover, I think you should have a female counterpart because that works well. There's Sandy who is sort of (and maybe this is too harsh a word) a misogyne; the female character (formerly Bess or Bridget) who counters Sandy's comments, defending the female gender; and J.B., the settled-down married person who's sort of caught in the middle. It's great chemistry.
Also, you mentioned getting back into the charities. That was another thing I mentioned to Jim Robinson in my email, that you guys care so genuinely about the community. I'd like to see you get back into Bikes For Kids and maybe talk to Lance Armstrong again about cancer research, or whatever.
Anyway, I know I get rather long in my emails and postings, but you guys are the best! Keep up the good work, and don't change your formula for the sake of ratings. We'll keep your ratings up!

I have to disagree with the woman who wrote about taking away Mad Moms. I love it and I think it makes the show unique and family friendly. One of these days I'll have to call in with my daughter who thinks that JB and Sandy are specifically talking to her. Keep up the good work guys!!

I just wanted to express how I feel that JB & Sandy are no longer on the morning show... I looked forward everyday to listening to them. Fridays were my favorite with their Morning Mix...They made me laugh all the way to work. They will truely be missed by a ton of listeners. They were a breath of fresh air to Dallas. I wish the two of them the best of luck in their careers & personal lives.

I'm a VERY disappointed Dallas listener (long-time listener from San Antonio though) but atleast I know that y'all are out there when I have to drive from DFW to SA. Just to clarify something for the people of Dallas. A lot of the posted messages state something about "Dallas doesn't know...", but what we mean by "Dallas" isn't the people, it's the suits. Don't take it the wrong way, we aren't attacking you. We're just happy they're back in Austin and yet, sorry that you can't enjoy them too.
Those of you that don't like "Mad Moms" are just new listeners...only the true original fans can appreciate the goodness of a segment like that. Ya'll ROCK!

Dallas knew what they had! JB and Sandy is a great morning show and we will miss them terribly. The listeners in Dallas weren't the problem, it was the radio station. I never thought that Wild 100 was a good format for JB and Sandy anyway, the only time I listened to 100.3 was in the morning.
I'm happy for all of the Austinites, but my morning commute won't be the same. No more megamix! Please let us know if there will be a way for us to listen here too! Good luck guys! You touched many lives here in Dallas too!

I am so glad that you are back. I am a new listner. A friend of mine at work got me hooked and then you were taken off the air, but I have to say that "Mad Moms" needs to go. I find it annoying. I change the station until it's over. I don't think that people care where your going, what your driving and who's with you. Ya'll have a great show but that particular segment gets on my nerves. I'm glad your back, but PLEASE think about getting rid of "Mad Moms."

After moving to the Dallas area from Houston last year and missing my favorite morning show with Sam Malone and Maria Todd, I search and searched and found the JB and Sandy morning show and was so excited that I have found someone who felt like home. Me and my kids listenen to your show faithfully every morning. I didnt feel homesick every morning. I am going to miss being able to hear you on our way to school each day, and even though I love Bess I dont think that I can continue to be a loyal listiner to 100.3. But the great thing is, thanks to the internet I will listen everymorning thru my computer.

I really miss your morning show on 100.3 in Dallas. I started listening to you when I was in college @ Southwest Texas. I have always loved your show and when I heard your voices in Jan of 2001 on the radio in Dallas I was immediatly hooked! I listened to you guys everyday during my 30 mile drive to work. Since you went on "vacation" I have been flipping back and forth with no luck in finding a station I like. I guess I will start putting in the CD's. I don't know what happened but I do know that Dallas and Wild 100 made a huge mistake! You guys are great, we're certainly going to miss you and congrats to 94.7 in Austin for making the right decision. Also, congrats to the Austin listeners...enjoy having them back! I travel to Austin on a regular basis so I will be sure to tune in to 94.7 to catch you guys.

Like EVERYONE else in Austin, I am so glad you guys are back. I've been a listener from the very start-I remember the "Pretty Woman Contest!" Now that was entertainment! I still think the best sidekicks were Bridget and Funky, but things change, such is life! Good luck to Steakboy, way to go, you'll do great. And good luck with finding Supermouth. As long and JB and "Smart-ass" Sandy are still there, it will rock no matter what. It's great to hear your voices again. Welcome home!

I just wanted to voice my opinion. Austin knew what they had and what they were losing when JB & Sandy moved to Dallas. But Dallas didn't know what they were getting. Now that it's GONE they're wanting ya'll back. Well, too bad! You had your chance and you blew it. Austin is their home so quit asking them to come "HOME". That was just a bad deal from the start. I'm glad they woke up and saw that Austin is where they belong.
To JB & Sandy:
I want ya'll to know that you are a part of soooo many Austinites day. I couldn't get my day started until I heard your familiar voices. I've got to admit, this morning when you decided to have "Mad Moms" on again I got teary-eyed. THAT'S when I realized the old JB & Sandy are BACK! You two are a great pair and are like brothers to me. I love your show and hope that all works out with the move home.

It's great to have you guys back!!! You are the only radio show that my whole family agrres on, even my kids!! I love it!! JB, did you ever consider Round RocK! We have an excellent school district and the Forest Creek area has a lot on wonderful homes available! We might not be Austin, but we are real close. My husband is a bicycle rider and can show you some get roads out in the farm land up towards Georgetown. Plus I have not one, but two wonderful daughters still at home who are GREAT babysitters. Think about and WELCOME BACK!!!!!

4. Let's all remember that Dallas isn't all bad... My new husband's family is from there and they liked JB & Sandy... Too bad a few bad apples can spoil the whole basket!

Hey guys ... great to have you back. I have to admit that I was beginning to tire of the show in Dallas. The reason being that one of the things that made me love your show in Austin, was how much it felt like you were just another friend.
Hearing stories about you heading to Momo's on the deck, Copper Tank for some beer, or biking the hike and bike trail down on Town Lake made for a warm and comfortable feeling - kind of like Austin gives you in living in it.
I know you will fall right back in love with our great town of Austin. No more flat concrete jungle ... welcome back to the rolling hills and lakes of Austin, Texas!
PS - Just saw the post on Steakboy as the producer ... I agree that he's a great addition.
PSS - For all those asking for you to bring back the trailer park woman (can't remember her name) - please avoid that. I'd rather a hip young Austin woman that could match Bess's wit ... but bring a bit more of the Austin music & arts edge.

It was a cold Tue. morning and approx. 2 wks into withdrawl from listening to the jb and sandy show in the morn. I (the mom) opened the door to the white (crappy dodge spirit) sat down and had a brief moment of hesitance to turn over the engine. Why bother? I would just sit there and wait in the quite chilled air and revv the engine until my daughter came down from our apt. to go to school.
Slamming the door to the car I did just that. It was getting monotonous each morning, searching for music because the "shows" or the other "Dj's" simply had nothing of real character to show for themselves.
I allowed my daughter to find a decent song to listen to (light ghetto, or alternative was acceptable). Once it was over it turned onto a commercial, so I (again the mom) took over the radio selection. and found a old song I recognized, and started to be-bop to it, as well as singing some lines. I knew my daughter was a little irratated that she couldn't listen to her "music" anymore, but she knew it was important to keep mom happy in the morning, after all I drive her to school every morning as a favor. (I wouldn't dare tell her I love her..... then who'd have the upper hand? lol (also just kidding about the love thing))
So the song was interupted by another song, and I said hey! Iknow this format!! Is this jb and sandy or a tape?
next I turned to my daughter of which i witnessed the expression on her face telling me that she was thinking of the same thing.
The voice came on ...... HEY YOUR LISTENING TO JB AND SANDY LIVE IN AUSTIN TX! I quickly slowed down the car and screamed in unison with my daughter whooooooooooh... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!! ( both hands in the air in the we're not worthy upright position)

First, I would like to say congratulations to those in Austin for getting the priviledge to listen to JB & Sandy.
Second, thanks to the person who gave the recap.
Third, I really think it's unfair to the Austin listeners to bash the Dallas listeners. We loved the guys and will miss them very much. Obviously, the problem at 100.3 was not the listener, but the management. I'm sure that other listeners in Dallas will be checking into the website to get updates.
Lastly, good luck JB & Sandy. I really hope that eerything works out well for you and your families. Remember that the folks of Dallas will miss you!

I actually noticed on air that it seemed like JB & Sandy were trying not to denote location or make references to Austin....it was probably such a challenge that is sounded forced and perhaps why I noticed it. Oh my gosh I was soooo excited to hear you both this morning. When your show left to Dallas I felt a little betrayed and almost cried, it felt like my best friend or a family member was moving far far away. But, regardless I am a loyal listener and kept listening every morning on my way to work. While in Dallas you always seemed too far to connect with and kinda distant. This morning it was wonderful knowing you were back home were you belong and among people and listeners who both love you and admire you. I don't care what happened, who done it, or what happens from here on, I'm just happy to hear JB & Sandy on my way to work again. I had missed how disconnected from the people the show had become since moving to Dallas. Remember when a free phones call sparked a group of listeners to renovate a disabled man's house? Here in Austin, JB & Sandy brought people together in such wonderful ways. Maybe Dallas has a higher quantity of listeners, but the people of Austin sure do not lack in quality... despite what some suit thinks.

Not that I think they will go back, but you can at least give wild 100 hell for letting them go. Austinites raised you know what when they went off the air. We emailed the program director for Mix 94.7, we called, we did just about everything we could think of to get our guys back in Austin. Those in the DFW area might try doing the same.

I have never had such a great day as I did today. It started out wrong when my alarm went off an hour late. I turned on the radio as I was rushing to get ready and heard 1 hour or more of heartbeats. I was so frustrated! I got in my car and tuned in, and I'll be damned, the boys are back! I danced and sang to the mega-mix all the way to work. Another friend (who got me hooked on the show 3 years ago) called my cell phone to see if what she was hearing was real! What started out as a horrible day ended up being incredible. You guys put me in the best mood. I missed you the last 2 1/2 weeks. I was not "me". Thanks for coming back! We love you in Belton and Temple!

I understand how the Austin audience felt about them moving to Dallas, because now I'm experencing the same thing in reverse (except this time, I can't hear them broadcasting from a different station) I wish ANY station in Dallas would pick them up and I could at least hear the show re-broadcast through there. If anyone in Austin could please share with us and let us know how the guys are doing, and what's going on with the "supermouth" thing, and this letter to RJ (JR?) Cook. Ok - for everyone whose still not sure what's happened I listened for a little over an hour this a.m. and have been a fan for at least 5 years so I'm going to just tell you what I heard so the people with questions might see it. They said they had gotten into squabble with J.C. Cook the short dork at Wild 100 in Dallas because he had written a memo to them which said JB & Sandy were to NO LONGER make any more references to Austin, Austin callers, listeners or events as Austin is a small, insignificant radio market comprising of a bunch of out-of-work tech workers, half-ass musicians, and freaks. This caused a big fight between JB & Sandy and the short dork and consequently their leaving or being fired. (btw, JB&Sandy got him that job). It sounds as though CBS did not honor their original contract but not to worry, JB & Sandy have a great lawyer they said (and I don't think they really care). Bess "hates" Texas and is only staying in Dallas until she can find somewhere to go back to Northeast. Tim is staying with the larger market. JB & Sandy wanted them to stay with but they weren't interested. Now they are doing this "Supermouth" contest to get a new sidekick and Steakboy is their new producer which I think is totally kick-***. I hope they pay him accordingly so he can buy a new car. Also JB & Aaron are looking for a house to buy around the Travis Heights or Barton Hills area (hope I got this right) but not having much luck so far and in the meantime Aaron & baby Raleigh are in Dallas which is really bumming JB out. Sandy is just going back to the house he already had here. OK - this was waaayyy tooooo long but isn't it great to have them back!!!

When the show was in Austin you did so much more like "Bikes For Kids", Fishing day with the single moms, singles clubs and more. The new format in Dallas was bad, change in times, less talk on a TALK SHOW!!!! wasn't good. Never mind time to build again. When I got my first job out of college, my job kept me on the road for hours...bright and early. I was miserable most of the time, but luckily JB & Sandy got me through the first four hours of every day with tons of laughs and tears. You made waking up each day a joy! When I heard you were off the air, my heart was shattered, and I felt like my best friends were being pulled away without saying good-bye. Now that you are back, I can smile again:D...and I am making a request to bring the Mega-Mix back to stay...now that you've returned back to where it all started!

For a little over a year I've been stuck out here in San Diego -- but thankfully I'll be moving back to beloved Austin in a couple of months. I've tried my best to keep up with what's going on with JB and Sandy, but for the last week or so there have been too many references to what's been said on the air...which, of course, I can't hear.
How about someone posting a real short recap of what's the deal with the firing in Dallas, coming back to Austin, what Supermouth is, etc.?

Who cares if the "metroplex" is the 4th largest radio market in the nation, and who cares if CBS radio is in Dallas for the sole purpose of making money. Austin is and will always be unique. Unenployed hi techers are still living here despite the downturn of the industry, and musicians are still playing their music every single night. These people know a good town when the live in it. When it comes to Austin, our mantra is a way of life outscores the amount of income you make. Keep Austin weird, baby!

I'm thrilled to have you back!!!!! That whole heart beat thing - - - when I got in the shower this morning music was playing - when I shut off the shower I heard that heart beat and thought one of the dogs was yaking. I rushed out naked, dripping wet and freezing and didn't realize until I was halfway through the house that the noise was coming from the radio!! Don't do that again. At least it was water I had to clean up and not dog hurl. Now - get to work and make all of Austin happy! Screw Dallas/Ft Worth. Kathy
PS - perhaps you would have been more successful if the company in Dallas/Ft Worth had done a little advertising - I spend a lot of weekends in that area visiting relatives and never did see a bill board for you but lots for the competition. Oh well, our gain is their loss.

Glad you guys are back! I tried to listen when you went to dallas, but the show was not the same. I realized it was because you were down-playing the Austin element in the show and that was what made it great. I miss Bridget too! She was great and really balanced out the show, not like Bess who was a little immature and annoying. Please get a woman co-host who has her own thoughts and opinions and not a "yes-girl". I thought supermouth was going to be Funky!! That would have been neat. Take care, and please acknowledge all of us who warned you that it would not be the same once you went to Dallas.....we need to hear it!

Yea!!! I’m soooo glad that you made the decision to come back and not go somewhere else. I commute back and forth to Dallas quite often and thought it would be a great idea to have your show in both areas. Boy, were we all wrong. I would drive up there and find that other station and they would be playing music that seemed alien to me. Your show was always wonderful though. It seemed to me that they just didn’t support or promote your show at all. There weren’t even any billboards up that I could find. They took the mega mix out and that was the first sign of things to come.
When I was up in Dallas during spring break you were gone. I, like other people, was ready to boycott the station and started looking for another station to listen to. My children ages 6 and 9 were fuming mad when they heard you were off the air. There is just no other show like yours that can appeal to all types of people at all ages. You are funny, keep it clean, keep it real, honest and you all seem like family. You are not complete failures!!! That other radio station failed you!!! Believe in yourselves because thousands of people in Austin believe in you. By the way, I have many friends in Dallas that I turned on to your show that are now jealous and mad at me, because they lost you for good while we still have the privilege of hearing you every day. Welcome back!!! Austin really does love you and so do many in Dallas. Thanks for taking the chance on us again.
P.S. I really liked Bess and wish she would have given us a shot. Please let her know how much the people in Austin loved her and that she will be missed. This Super Mouth is going to have to fill some big shoes.

When my alarm went off this morning, I was so confused to hear heartbeats. I hadn't heard any word about JB and Sandy returning to Austin b/c for the last week I haven't been listening to anyone on the radio. I've been in Austin and a big-time fan for 4 yrs. When I heard you two shout this morning shout, "We're BACK!" I was SO EXCITED! I got on my phone and called everyone I knew and woke their butts up. I was literally crying tears of joy b/c you all mean so much to all of here in Austin. What an awesome suprise! I'm sure Dallas is as devastated as we were to have lost you, but I want to personally thank all of the people who had a hand in getting JB, Sandy, and Steakboy BACK! Not only did I move my radio back into the bathroom for getting ready in the mornings, but I arrived early to work b/c I was so anxious to get in my car and do the 'drive' to work w/ such familiar voices. I've been listening to JB before there was a JB and Sandy! I remember JB being a part of the Kidd Kraddick Show in Dallas (which went downhill after JB's departure). When he left, I was disappointed. Imagine how thrilled I was when I drove to Austin and heard his voice again on the JB and Sandy show. The combination was fantastic! Then I found out I could pick them up in San Antonio. About a year after I moved back to Dallas (and countless crappy morning shows later), I was thrilled to hear that the JB and Sandy show was be coming to Dallas. Finally, a good format to wake up and drive to work with. (Much better than all the pettiness of other shows.) However, lately Wild 100 cut back an hour of the morning show, and then I wake up one morning (after 3 days of working a different shift) and JB and Sandy are just plain gone! Bess is on the air with a different DJ. No explaination, nothing! I've been just as loyal a listener as the people of Austin. I understand their frustration with the changes since the move to Dallas, and am happy they may get to hear JB and Sandy again. However, I think both stations owe it to the listeners to explain what the heck is going on and bring back our beloved morning show - the way it was - the way we like it. I spend a lot of time going between Dallas and Austin and if there's no JB and Sandy, I'd rather pop in a CD than listen to the rubbish that is on the radio now.

I really hope they come back, however, I really hope they remember their roots and do it like they did before at Mix. Lately I've switched more often then I listend. JB & Sandy you guys just got to commercial. In addition you have been the only ones that have been open minded and did not judge people when they called in.
This also changed in DFW, lately I switched a couple of times when you just jumped on people (no problem with that if they are on the phone and still can defend themselves).....
So I hope you got back remembering your roots, getting back to the good old Austin style remebering what Austin is all about.....
We got ride of the Dot.Communists now we all have to remember what makes life great.... and the old JB & Sandy are for sure one of the things...

I am soooo happy, the minute I heard the voice of super mouth and his friend (this was at 5am-ish) I knew the boys were back, those voices are unmistakable, so settle back austinites,lets hear a "whooop there it is" for super mouth and clyde, just what weve been crying for. I laughed and smiled all the way to work. I-35 never seemed so fun !!! welcome back friends, let the games begin !!

You've been part of my life all these years taking kids to the bus stop and driving to work. Mad mom's in minivans, Megamix, Ode of the Day, Bridget, Bikes for Kids, then Dallas, Meg, Steakboy, Tim and babies - we've loved them all.
What's the deal about Supermouth?
I ended up switching to an oldies station today just to have something to listen to besides the depressing garbage about ya'll not being allowed on the air.

I have listened to the JB & Sandy show with Bridget when I first moved to Austin and enjoyed it very much. Since JB and Sandy moved to Dallas and got a third wheel to join they're show....it has been a turn off. I don't even know her name, but she is annoying, ignorant and needs be left in Dallas if JB and Sandy come back to Austin. Thanks!

We were on Spring Break and totally missed what happened. Imagine our surprise when we tuned in on the ride to school, when J.B. and Sandy weren't there. Bring them back is what my kids were saying. Fellow Austinites.... they ARE back. They're just stretching this Clyde, Supermouth, etc... joke out to the max. I don't know when they'll make thier official announcement, or if supermouth is a new nickname, or what. What matters is.... they're BACK!
Hearing the old JB & Sandy promo songs on 94.7 brings back so many great memories! Back to old times! YEAH! FINALLY!

I'm glad JB and Sandy are back, I have been turning on my radio every morning hoping to hear their voices. This morning I almost decided not to turn it on, but luckily I did and I heard their familiar voices. Thank goodness, now my morning trips into town everyday will be better.

I was so happy this morning, I smiled all the way to work. I was one of the ones who wrote to Mr. Robinson with my support for you guys, so I'm glad to know that the "suits" actually do care what the customer thinks! I know that when the time is right, we will all know what happened and that J.B. and Sandy will clue us in. I was just overjoyed to hear those familiar voices-I don't care what they have to be called! Glad to know that Tim and Steakboy are back too!! I'll really miss Bess, though. At first, I didn't think she would be a good replacement for Brig, but I grew to really like her and the combination with you guys. Too bad she didn't want to stay with you (that is, if she was given the option)--I think you all made a great team. I'm just really relieved and happy to have our J.B. and Sandy back! I've been listening for about 5 years and just love you guys. Everytime my boyfriend and I walk into Walmart or see PEEPS, we both start saying....."I like yellow peeps, greens peeps, pink peeps...I like PEEPS!" Basically, JB and Sandy have become apart of my life and so many others. The things you do and the things you have done for our community is more than expected from a radio station. Ride for the Roses, Kelly Davidson fund, Bikes for kids, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Singles parties, Mix concerts and so many more things you guys have helped and contribute to us.
So it didn't work in Dallas, but it does work here in Austin and you guys are the BEST!!!!!!!!

JB & Sandy,
I know a lot of folks want you back, want you on the air in Dallas, Austin, or whatever. Listeners in both Dallas and Austin deserve to listen to a great show like yours. You may not know all of us, but when we listen to you day after day, we often get to know you better than some of our best friends and relatives.
When your favorite radio show leaves the air, it's like you've lost a friend (or groups of friends).
I realize, however, that this is your career, your livelyhood. While I hope you come back to Mix 94.7 in Austin and Hot 100 in Dallas, I mostly hope you choose whatever is best for your career, and I for one will support you. Whatever you guys decide to do, I'll accept it and encourage you to do your best.
That said, let's Get to Get'n!

Sounds like the boys are on their way back to the airwaves. Did you notice that the little pop-up box for the website *doesn't* say they are on permanent vacation -- instead, it says "Back to work soon - Details coming up"
I heard the "interns" on the radio this morning, and I laughed and cried. This is the best Monday morning I've had in weeeeeeeks. I feel sorry for the Dallas listeners that lost JB and Sandy's magical morning moments, but *this* Austin-area listener is on Cloud 9.

Today's show was disappointing. My first and all time favorite morning show
was 5 or 6 years ago when you kept apologizing for having such a bad morning
show and sent (then) *broadcast school Mike* (Funky) out to apologize for
the bad show by offering to mow people's lawns... Well, looks like it's time
for this once again. Geat a lawnmower!
