Hey y'all it seems as though you made it back! (right???!!) Thank GOODNESS! I'm a wuss girl college student so I can't wake up at 5 am at the start of the show, but I might try it tomorrow! When my alarm goes off I always used to hit snooze until I heard your voices and then I would instantly be awake and laughing! This morning I heard only about two or three words that sounded like one of my guys and I bolted out of bed, but then you were gone! So, I wait by the radio....hoping to hear you soon!

Mr. Robinson's voice sure did sound familiar! Hummmm...Wonder who it could have been really???? I understand you have your reasons for handling this the way you are. If you must call yourself Supermouth to get back on the air so be it. Just don't change your show. I'm sorry Bess isn't happy in Texas. I'm sure California is more her style. If you wind up replacing her maybe you could get someone "homegrown" this time. Like someone similar to that other female person you once had whose name can't be mentioned either.... I never really noticed how much I NEED to hear JB and Sandy in the morning, but these last few weeks have been TOUGH!! I used to laugh my way to work, but now I show up moody and grumpy.

I don't know what this whole "Supermouth" thing that Robinson kept plugging this morning is all about; but if it's not directly related to bringing my morning team back on the air, I'm not listening. Who is he to tell us that we'll like it better than the JB and Sandy show?! I can't keep coming to work annoyed, so I'll check in every morning, but if they're not on, I'm turning my radio off.

I think the network is making a huge mistake on taking you guys off the air. You have done so much for your listeners and we miss you all. I miss listening to you in the early, early morning. I hope the network realizes what they have done to radio. Hope to have you back soon.

Like many others i was forced to change radio stations in the morning and will not come back until they bring back JB, Sandy and the rest of the gang. I will also not listen to this station at any time in the day. I really hope the suits do not think they can bring someone else to replace JB and Sandy.

Yesterday, when I heard ads on Mix concerning listening to a guy by the name of "Supermouth", I was convinced that I would turn on the radio this morning. i knew I would hear a new voice and immediately turn it off and return to my CD mornings of four years ago. Instead, I heard a couple of lovable goofballs saying they were Supermouth. Funny enough, the two voices were a little - or a lot - familiar. They were those of JB and Sandy. Then, I heard Steakboy and knew the truth. I am so excited. Morning radio is back in Austin! Austin, turn on Mix in the morning. JB AND SANDY ARE BACK!!!!!

let's just say that cbs made a huge mistake taking jb and sandy off the air! i've been in denial, convincing myself that they were just on vacation for a couple of weeks. this is totally upsetting. i mean, i'm glad that bess and tim and steakboy are still on in dallas, but, please, they aren't enough when they aren't with jb and sandy! no more cbs stations for me. ever.

I am sad, I will not listen to mix in the morning any more, I will miss you all, if any suits or J.B, or Sandy are reading this and there is a possiblity of a show PLEASE THROW US A BONE ! I raelise that the general public is not aweared of many inside situations with the operation of a morning
show.In the same maner your executives should remember
that is that same public makes or brakes you.
Removing the JB & Sandy Mornig Show will prove to be a major mistake.The morning show became a major institution in Austin.This desicion should be considered as an insult and desrespectfull act against Austin and central Texas public.
From my part I will no longer listen to Mix 94.7
nor will played at my bussines (4000 patients stong)

what the heck happened?? I called one day when i noticed ya'll werent on the air, and the d.j said that you guys were on vacation and you would be back next week. Okay, I have never in my life listened to a morning show and enjoyed it the way i enjoy you guys. U guys are friends that ive never met. I wake up every morning and LOOK forward to listening on the way to school. We (us listeners), need a explanation... because the J.B. sandy morning show is phenomenally the best around....in fact i figured they were putting KID kraddick show out of business. What a let down to all of the many loyal fans! My husband and I faithfully listen every morning. Everyone on the show had a way of making us laugh. Hopefully the higher ups will take the time and think about how the loss of the morning show has affected its listeners. We REALLY miss having JB, Sandy, Bess, Tim and Steakboy as part of our mornings.

I had no idea what was going on last week, decided to check the message board and find out what was up. It sucks pretty bad that these guys are off the air!! But, I'm hoping that this is a really long drawn out April Fool's gag that will end next week. Maybe they're just taking a well deserved vacation. If not, I know all of us listeners are going to be raising some serious hell about this!! I did not know a soul who didn't think they're show was entertaining- I really miss laughing in the mornings !!!

I can not believe the boys are gone. I started listening to JB & Sandy while stationed at Fort Hood. That was 1998. I would have so much fun listening to them on the way to work. They were very down to earth guys who I could relate to. The military moved me to Korea state, but even then, I would keep up with their website to see what was going on. I am now back in Texas and loved the fact I could listen once more. I am sad to say I, along with some of my fellow soldiers will not be listening to your station. Bring them back

I have sent an email to "The Suits", hope they listen! JB and Sandy got me started on Starbucks Coffee way back when they came to my office with Starbucks and doughnuts. I had no idea who they were at first, but soon found out! Thanks for the Starbucks and thanks fo all the years of fun, tears and good music! You belong here in Austin. We, the fans feel that close connection with you two, that is hard to find, hard to replace and when it has been taken away, missed like heck! Ive been scrolling through many of the messages. I'm in agreement with many of them...please bring JB & Sandy back on the air. I'm an Austinite who has listened to the show since before I graduated from high school (not exactly sure HOW long before i graduated...may have been 1 yr, may have been 2) and that was in '98, and I have continued until now. I was upset when I woke up Monday after spring break ended, started my commute to campus, and didnt hear JB & Sandy on the air. However, my main reason for posting is that I've seen many "boycott" or "I won't listen anymore until/even if they come back" posts. If the higher ups decidedto take them off the air, even with the immense amount of support shown, what makes any of you think that they will bring back the show. I also saw the "e-mail paper trail" post...if you harrass them in that way, they are most likely less likely to give you what you want. While I've never had experience of this magnitude...I have had small experience with flooding by snail mail or internet work, and it has never made me happy. In fact it has made me less desirable to return to the demand. Waht will help in getting them back is a polite" we miss them, we really enjoyed them, please bring them back", not a "I'm boycotting until they come back". Besides, if you boycott, or stop listening until they come back, how will you know that the've come back (if they do) unless a friend/coworker tells you...kinda pointless to boycott for a reaction then IMHO. Rant over...I've put in my $.02...and I reiterate to anyone who can bring them back, Please bring back JB & Sandy.

I have been listening to the JB and Sandy show since 1995, when I was in highschool, and now I am about to graduate college. I truly think 'management' has made a mistake in taking the Morning Show off of the air. They were the only reason I even listened to Mix 94.7! I know I speak for others when I say that the station will lose a lot of LOYAL listeners.

I, like many others, will now be boycotting any CBS/Infinity station until JB and Sandy and the gang are brought back, or until I hear them somewhere else. I will also be telling all my friends who faithfully listen--to boycott as well. I can't understand why anyone would pull the best morning show ever--I hate morning shows, but JB and Sandy and Bess always put me in such a good mood and had me laughing on my way to work, to school--anywhere and everywhere. The first thing I do when I turn my car on is turn on the radio to Mix 94.7...but no more. Now I'll either keep the radio off or listen to a cd bc the other stations' morning shows are annoying, stupid, and vulgar. You don't realize what a bad decision this was, and how it's going to affect the station---you're losing a lot of faithful listeners.

How could anyone take away the JB and Sandy show? As a college student in Austin I listened to this show to wake me up in the morning and to give me the will to make it through the day. Can anyone give us listeners a reason for this sudden bang of horrible news? JB and Sandy, and Bess, if you are out there, reading this, I pray, please let us listeners know how we can contact you. You have become not only our cups of inspiration in the morning, but our friends. I love you guys, and so do many more of your fans. I feel it is unfair to totally dismiss them and not give an explanation. I went away for spring break and when I came back JB & Sandy were gone. I do not even like listening to the radio anymore. No matter how bad my day started out I always ended up laughing. They made the day so much more pleasant. You NEED to bring them back and if you won't do that at least give us an explaniation. I find myself listening to CD's now and I truely miss listening to the "gang." Please help us, the listeners, understand what is going on.

They are funny and entertaining without the crude and careless remarks one hears on other Austin radio stations. Please bring them back. What a disappointment! I was very disappointed when Bridgette left, but Bess what a good replacement. The trip to Dallas was disappointing, but I survived. Some JB&Sandy was better than none even if they did live in the DFW area. My family and I miss the show in the morning and would appreciate an explanation at the very least. We would liek to see them back on the air soon. I travel frequently between Austin and Dallas and will continue to search for those friendly voices that I call friends. A piece of my life is missing. They brought reality home when they adopted Kelly on the air and made her a part of thousands of our lives. A piece of me left when when she passed on to be with th Father, but at least I knew what happened. They have encouraged me daily for the past 6 years and have done much for the community and the LAF and cancer awareness. My wish is simply that you place them back on the air as soon as possible. They are truly missed!

I'm still not quite sure what's going on with you guys at this point. I have been a loyal listener of "THE SHOW" since 1995. It almost seems like I personally know you guys. I even had Lasik surgery the same day Bess and JB had theirs. It was great to finally get to meet you guys. I really miss all of you. I drive to work every morning surfing through the other morning shows but nobody compares to you guys. We will take you all back at anytime. It saddens me that the Austin listeners blame Dallas for the demise of the JB and Sandy Show. They were a breath of fresh air to come to Dallas. They brought new life to Dallas airwaves. The Dallas listeners are just as sad and mad as the Austin listeners. Please don't blame Dallas as a whole. Yes---we do have taste. Blame the WILD 100 management.

I have successfully switched many friends to Mix 94.7 It's the first thing we talk about in the mornings at work. We all love JB & Sandy (they are the only reasons we listen). I think it is very unfair that JB & Sandy were removed with no explaination to their LOYAL LISTENERS. I have listened to JB & Sandy for several years and have continued to listen the last two weeks (hoping for their return). I am however, finished!!!!! I will continue to flip to 94.7 daily to see if JB & Sandy are back. Until they are I will be a 101-X listener. Thank you for trying to bring them back (if you really are). If your not, I hope you go down with your station!!!!!!!!

I can't believe you took them off the air. I hate driving in the car to work now, there is nothing to get me laughing. I think the least the station can do is let the public know what was behind the decision, it sucks now. Also i can't believe Bess and tim are still there, how loyal are they? It's like losing a friend to suicide, so many unanswered questions, the biggest being WHY? Bring them back, actually, I hope another station picks them up, your new format sucks anyway. I have never been the type to enjoy morning shows. I would normally play a CD in the morning. That was until I moved to the Austin area and a friend told me about the JB and Sandy morning show. The show was excellent they talk about things that are real, and touch peoples lives. I truly enjoy the show and I feel we deserve to know what happened.

I have been a listener to JB and Sandy for years! They belong in Austin. I continued to listen to them when they moved to Dallas but it was never the same. The Austin connection was missing! JB and Sandy are like another family to me. Listening to them made my day start better.It has not been the same without them. I have no intention of listening to your station without them! I live in Taylor, Texas and the drive to Round Rock to work every day was made so much easier with JB and Sandy! What a mistake you made moving them to Dallas and an even bigger mistake taking them off the air! Move them home to Austin! Their fans miss them!

For the first couple of days I was under the impression that "The Gang" was on a vacation. After the third day I got worried, then finally on day five I called in to see what the DEAL was. The phone rang (because the regular listeners knew not to listen to this twirp) he answered and I asked him right out where was JB and Sandy? "No longer there" I am still trying to let it sink in. "But Bess is still here." (Not the same). I do not know or care to know who the new guy is ("well we've got music" He tells me) We had that before you showed up. I hung up in his face (Not worth my time) This was the last day that I listened to Wild 100.

No more Bagel dates, Gay Steven, "Ryan" The Junior Love Doctor, etc. The pain is too much to bear.

Bottom line is that I feel like I really knew these people and with them gone, it seems like part of my "group" is missing. I'm not even intersted in morning radio without them.

I never liked "talking" in the morning until I started listening to JB & Sandy when I moved to Austin two years ago.

I'm proud they tried to make a go of it in the Dallas market, but if they haven't "gotten it" yet, then send them back to Austin!

I had been a very loyal JB & Sandy listener for several years. The only problem was is that I lived in San Antonio and once I got to work my radio was unable to pick up the station. I was so excited when I moved to Dallas because I knew I was going to get a chance to listen to their whole show every week day. I have to say that I'm not very fond of the music that 100.3 plays and the ONLY reason I listened in was to hear the guys. I miss them terribly and want them back on the air.

OK, as most everyone else I am extremely upset over the fact that it apprears JB and Sandy are truely gone. I have emailed, written and called the station even. I'm upset over the fact that there has been no updates from JB or Sandy. I hear Bess, Tim, and Steakboy on with that lame gut now and can't figure out exactly what they are doing. 100.3 is basically a copy cat of 106.1 in every way now. I must say that I have turned to country music. Yes, that is how bad radio is in Dallas. I think we at least desreve some type of update or eason to why for all out support. To be honest, I'm starting to feel like it is for nothing and mayb JB and Sandy don't really care!

FYI-INFINITY MANAGEMENT: Loyal listeners will no longer listen to 94.7 AUSTIN-if JB & SANDY, Bess and Steak Boy are not back on the air together very, very soon.(Assuming they would be willing after all this!)I enjoyed their show on the way to work in traffic usually over an hour and listened at work until they went off at 9am. The new format of automated music, messages and advertisements just doesn't get it in the morning at that crucial hour-6-7:30am Cliff Morrison is the only relief from the inane automation and unreal people. What a foolish move on the part of decision makers! Why not ask the listeners about this if you care at all about them? At least give us the courtesy of an explanation. One week I wondered why constant re-runs then suddenly Junk morning stuff the next week here in Austin. I surely hope that Rebecca from the "Bagel Date crisis " had nothing to do with this situation since she had personal issues to deal with apparently that were not at all related to JB and Sandy. If you value your Austin Listeners PLEASE BRING THEM BACK SOON or I'll be reluctantly going back to MAJIC 95.5 next week. KJ

I had a strong feeling the multi-market "morning show" would chew you guys up. I was very disappointed when your show left Austin, although I'm sure the $$$$$ were hard to resist. Your show was so well designed to the culture, the people, and the events in Austin, that it made your program hard to resist every morning. The multi-market "morning-show" seemed to handicap your creativity, and the constant campaigning to listeners in reference to your poor ratings really distracted from what you guys do best.

I hope your show can return to Austin, and that you are able to rekindle the spirit of your program. Should the cards not fall in Austin's favor, I wish you all the best!!

I know you must be flooded with emails on why The JB & Sandy Morning Show were taken off the air and the support of their listeners wanting them back. Please add my name/email to the list. I do not normally respond to things such as this. However, I belive it is important to show my support for "our friends" as well. I won't make this a long email. I won't go into how long I have been a loyal listener and how my 10 year old daughter loves the show. I won't go on to say (as most of their listeners do) that I wake up to them in the morning, get dressed with them, listen w/ my daughter on the way to school, on the way to work..... I won't go on how every morning I sit in my car for up to 20-30 minutes listening to the show, afraid that if I turn off the car that I will miss a laugh, a cry, a funny story...etc., just during the time it takes to walk from my car to my office. In fact, my co-workers make fun of me because they see me sitting in my car laughing my head off. I can go on and on about why JB & Sandy are great. I'm sure you are already aware of that fact. I remember the first time I tuned into the show. They were talking about how Sandy could not find the type of deodorant he used. It was hilarious. The point is, it won me over and many others from San Antonio to Austin, to Dallas and everywhere in between. They are family. Pure and Simple. And, we love them. Consensus says: "Bring them back home!"

I am very disappointed in Infinity/CBS's choice to pull JB and Sandy. For whatever the reason, I feel it was a mistake. Since they were pulled, I have opted to listen to CDs in the morning. I WILL NOT listen to the radio in the mornings until JB and Sandy's show is back on the air. Though I have never met them, I feel they were like family. They shared the parts of their lives that were so meaningful, and weren't into the garbage talking that you get from a majority of the other stations. They were real people, which is such a refreshing change from the normal DJs who bad mouth and become characters on the air.

We want them back in Austin!!!!!!!!! Please send them back.

I'm not listening to 94.7 anymore. I changed that auto button to 107.7 The End. As far as morning shows go in Austin, the are all pretty lame but I've been listening to KASE 101 and I'm even beginning to like the 10 Little Trivias. I may even call in one of these days.

Anyway, point of leaving the message is to let "The Suits" know they are less one listener for good. Regardless of whether or not they bring JB & Sandy back. When I get hit up for my preferences for the sake of ratings...I'll remember "The Suits'" attitude.

I drive a school bus in the Canyon Lake/Spring Branch area. We listened to the JB & Sandy Show EVERY MORNING!!!! There's not a lot of morning shows that are actually appropriate for kids Pre-K through 6th grade. And it's even harder getting 55 + kids to agree on one station!!! But We all agreed (and LOVED) JB and Sandy (Bess and Tim, too) I listened to the morning show from 6am to 9am (used to be 10am) every day! My own kids (ages 3 1/2 and 6) are even confused and keep asking me why were not listening to JB and Sandy anymore!!!!! I really don't know what to tell them!! But we will "Boycot" Mix 94.7 (all day) until they bring back "The Guys!" I don't drink coffee or need any soda or anything in the a.m. I used to always say, "Just put it on the JB & Sandy Show and I'll be wide awake and in a great mood before i ever make it to the first stop on my bus route!"
They truely are desprately missed!!!!! Please bring them back - at least bring 'em back to Austin!!!

P.S. You can "ditto" this message about 58 times because all of my kids agree!! Thanks!

I, like everyone else here, was devastated when I found out the show had been canceled. I still miss laughing with them on my way to work. But the truth is, if they don't get their act together soon and get back on the air they are going to lose their window of opportunity. I swore loyalty to JB & Sandy but I get bored driving to work! I've switched stations and eventually everyone else will too. I think we all know that JB & Sandy are coming back, at least to Austin, but if they don't do it quickly they are going to lose a lot of listeners. It's like a divorce...everyone vows never to remarry but, hey, you get lonely!

I can't understand why they cancelled the JB and Sandy show. I moved to Austin from San Francisco, CA in July and quickly found the show amongst the garbage shows on the other stations. The JB & Sandy show is better than anything I have found here or in California. I no longer listen to Mix 94.7 and will continue to boycott them until they bring back the JB & Sandy show. If that doesn't happen then I'll just switch around until I find something bareable and then make sure it is not owned by infinity/CBS, and if it is I will not listen to that either.

Not having MIX, JB, Sandy, Bess and the rest of the team, in the mornings is a loss to so many people. It's like a death in the family. Very unexpected, without warning, all of a sudden, they are gone. We don't know if we'll ever see or hear from them again. Please find a way to bring them back. I've listened every morning from San Antonio since June 1998. I know that nothing lasts forever, but these guys were more than radio D.J.'s, they helped so many people have a positive start to their day. They were a part of so many lives. Please let the public know how we can be Instrumental in bringing them back on the air.

This is a travesty. I have lived in Jersey, Wash DC, St Louis, Albuquerque, Denver, El Paso, and Austin over the past 15 years and I have listened to alot of morning radio in that time. And in that time there has been no other show (well maybe other than the Grease Man in DC) that even comes close.

Its a shame that I am now going to have to go back to CD's in the morning. Everything else in the Austin area pretty much stinks.

Thanks JB and Sandy while it lasted. I hope you let your management know that maybe they should have done a better job marketing your program before you left. I have had alot of laughs in the morning. Good Luck and don't go management. I think that I will take Sean's advice and boycott.

Why don't you explain what happened to everyone who have been dedicated listeners for years. I can't even beging to explain my feelings toward who ever had the idea of taking the JB and Sandy morning show off the radio. I am boycotting Mix 94.7. My 45 minute drive into Round Rock seems like an hour and a half now that I'm forced to listen to the "other" Austin morning talk shows. They are vulger, rude cry babies. But a bad talk show is better than no talk show. Every morning my radio is turned to Mix to see if JB and Sandy are back. When I don't hear their cheerful voices I quickly turn to another station. All I can say to Mix is they better bring JB and Sandy back soon before they truley realize how many loyal follewers JB and Sandy have. I don't care who's bad idea it was, just bring them back! I've been listening to JB and Sandy since I was in 7th grade, I'm now in 10th. I've never like 96.7, they're DJ's have always been so stupid. JB and Sandy are so awesome. I remember driving to school in 7th when they did like shoutouts. And I would always hear my friends who called in! It was so cool for a 13 yr old! I can't believe you guys took them off the air. That's so ridiculous. Whatever the reason is probably not a good enough one. Do you know how boring it is to sit on I35 for 45 minutes every morning on the way to school. I liked them better then just music, because I hear the same songs over and over. But with them, everything was a total surprise! I laughed, I cried, I got mad, and I celebrated. And I'm only 16, I mean, come on. They OBVIOUSLY are good if a 16 year old will listen to them. I just think you bigshots at Infinity need to rethink your little decision. WE WANT THEM BACK! ASAP!

OK what is the deal here? I went out of town for two weeks I come back and find that I do not have my morning friends. I feel like we have been cheated, the show ROCKS!!!!! I have actually had conversations with my friends about what is going on in JB and Sandy's life, they are part of us. We have listened for 5 years and Mix has given us nothing. I know we want JB and Sandy back in Austin NOW!!!! I just purchased a new stero for my car and can tell you now until JB and Sandy are back it will not be tuned to any CBS station and that goes along with all the TV's in my house also. I know that won't hurt they "big" guys, but I have a BIG mouth and plan to use it. JB and Sandy if you are keeping up with the messages we love you and miss you!!!!

Would someone please update us......I have done what I promised...I have boycotted Mix 94.7 and all Infinity/Clear Channel/CBS stations....in fact my CDs are getting quite a workout!
What a bunch of Moronic so-called "Business Men", what a moronic business decision.
In a time when the economy has taken a down-turn, you purposely ignore the valuable consumers opinion. Evidently you think you have more funds than GOD, but you forget, it is the consumer that put you in that position, and it is only the consumer that can take it away. We can and will boycott any and all advertisers on Mix 94.7 as well.
Keep that in mind while you are making your final decision.

By the way...I too am a professional, with plenty of disposible income!

I am not the age goup that JB, Sandy, Tim and Bess cater to but I am hooked on their passion for life, community, friendship and ability to be suggestively entertaining without being trashy. Their program, in it's completeness, has the best entertainment and news any station could hope to offer.
Obvously the reason for moving to Dallas was for financial gain for some company or business. Otherwise, why would anyone choose to disappoint the vast listening audience that follows their show. Now, they are not even there? Who is so unaware that they would keep messing with a good product until they finally mess it up. Shame on you, who ever your are!
Want to do the smart thing? Bring them home and give us our Morning Show back. Let me know when it happens and I'll start listening to Mix 94.7 again. Till then, I have moved on.

Hearing their daughters� heartbeat & listening to all the doctors� appointments gave me a friend threw my pregnancy. All thought I deliver 2 weeks before her; I could not wait to get in my car each morning to listen to what happened next. My parents live in Fort Worth and I would be so happy that I could listen to them when I went to visit. I don�t know what the DORKS in New York are thinking but the good �ol boys and girls in TEXAS what our JB & SANDY BACK.
And we really do miss TOM JONES on Friday.

I really enjoyed listening to the show in the mornings with JB & Sandy and Bess. Now, Bess is terrible with Tim and the new crew. They sound like a bunch of clowns. The show was acceptable to let the kids listen, now they can't listen. The current crew talks way too vulger for small ears in the car. Including Bess, what happened to her. She sounds like she has no morals. Your gearing your audience to be 18-21yr. olds. Dallas is a business city, with alot of families. Guess we will have to listen to those other stations that care about their audiences.

I have never been what one would call a 'morning person', but the JB & Sandy show was the 1 thing in my morning life that got me out of bed and to work each day with a smile on my face. Since the show has been pulled, I have flipped through all the other stations and am SICK with the choices I have left! One thing is certain, I will no longer be listening to 94.7 - it was the JB & Sandy show that kept all my radios (alarm clock, bathroom, car) tuned to that station. I've been a loyal listener for 5 years, as have many of my friends. I know the show had a large number of fans in Austin because of its quality. I never had a problem letting my child listen to the station and we shared many laughs together in the mornings because of the show.

I'm angry, disappointed and deeply saddened by having the show pulled from the morning airwaves. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BRING THEM BACK ON THE AIR !!!

I am so sad to hear that the one morning show that I have ever enjoyed is not airing currently! This is insane! I miss these guys so much that I just don't turn my radio on at all. The first disappointment was when they were ending the show an hour early but now this. I can truly identify with this cast of DJ's and I miss them so. All other morning shows are full of these shock jocks that leave me feeling unhappy and mad at the world. I moved to Dallas and was SSSSOOOOO happy to find my old "friends" were there. The other stations are either whiney or sound forced. I guess its time to break out my CD's for my hour plus commute. Its very disappointing to know that I live in a world where great personalities and real people aren't enough. I, as well as many others, are starting to tune away to other stations and the longer you wait to give any information, I believe the most listeners you will lose.

From a very loyal listener who was very shocked and saddened to not hear JB & Sandy in the morning. (FYI - I was in another room and heard their voices on the radio and I ran back to the room where the radio was and discovered it was only the Laser Eye Surgery commercial - my heart skipped a beat).

I am writing in support of the JB and Sandy morning show previously broad cast in both Dallas and Austin, Texas. I have been a faithful Austin listener to MIX 94.7 and the morning show for the past 5 years and was shocked, angry and upset to hear they were cancelled. The JB and Sandy morning show was a fun, captivating, non- offensive morning show. There was defiantly a loyal following, apparently so large, the show was taken to Dallas. Since I do not live in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area, I can only guess that the show ratings weren't up to par there due to a lack of advertising, which is the utmost important thing when releasing a new "product" into a new market. Even if that was "not the case", it was a bad decision to cancel the show, which will be made apparent within the upcoming months if the decision is not reconsidered.

Myself, along with the dedicated audience want them back on the air. We demand it. I think it was a huge mistake on behalf of Infinity and CBS to pull the show. I will boycott listening to MIX 94.7 permanently unless they are brought back. Every listener counts, as does word of mouth. The "suits" of Infinity should have looked past the size of the Dallas audience and more so at the quality and content of the morning show. It could only have grown in size, but that was ceased to be discovered. I will guarantee ratings will plummet since this decision was made. My advice to Infinity and CBS is to put them back on, not only in Austin, but Dallas as well. The whole Dallas audience will continue to fight it and act out until the listeners needs are met. I cannot understand why this would be done to the loyal listeners of the station and show since we are the ones you are trying to appease, recruit and keep.

He always enjoyed the show, and I appreciated that I didn't have to explain crass comments to my young one. No other morning show I have found is aware that many young children are also listening in. JB & Sandy were always funny and had an awareness for the young guys. I will not be listening to 94.7 unless they are brought back, the music is the same as all other stations on my dial, the main reason I tuned in was for the morning show...now there is no need to keep my dial tuned in...

I have an hour and a half drive (sometimes more) in from Killeen to Austin everyday and the past 10 days have been horrible. Flipping back and forth trying to find something to pass the long drive. Nothing in Austin or in the surrounding area compairs to what JB, Sandy, and Bess had. I have listened to JB and Sandy for years now and can not imagine a weekday morning without them. I feel bad that I just found out they were off the air. I am a long time listener (since early 1999). This has been a really hard year for me. My Mom passed away in February & ever since then I haven't been able to listen to the radio or watch T.V. At first it was because there was just too much going on & then I guess it was because I wasn't ready to join the real world again. Well, finally I decided to rejoin the rest of the world & turned on the radio yesterday morning only to find J.B. & Sandy gone. It was very unsettling for me. I hope they come back soon, I'm trying so hard to get my life back on track & I miss them & really need the comfort I found in their familiar voices (& laughter) to help me get going every morning. I hope they're able to come back to Austin, the only other way I could be pacified was if they were to go on to bigger and better things. J.B., Sandy, & crew... just know that we miss you & want you back in Austin, we wish you all the very best. Sure hope you come home soon!

It's very upsetting and now I have to listen to cds only because all the others stations don't have the GREAT DJ's nor do they have the Cool music. Please as a listener put them back on!!!

It is hard to find a show that you can relate to and I feel lost with out hearing JB and Sandy. If Dallas did not want them then bring them back home where they belong.

After reading what everyone else has written, it has pretty much all been said already. All that is left is to add my name to the long,(and growing) list of listners that HAD finally found a Morning Radio Show that was not only funny, and full of energy, but Non-Offensive, only to have it snatched away by some "out of touch with the listners" Bean Counting Suit that thinks they know what's best. Any other morning show would just be annoying background noise now that the bar has been raised. I prefer to drive to work at Dell in silence rather than accept radio that is now below my standards.
I will continue to check from time to time hoping to hear JB, Sandy, Bess, Steakboy, and yes even Tim again. Until then this 5+ year listner is no longer listening.

I can't believe it. They're gone! What have the suits done to us???? I hate music in the mornings because it's boring. I loved my morning show! I would laugh and cry on my hour and fifteen minute drive to work every morning. I hate listening to music in the morning b/c I can't seem to wake up and without JB and Sandy my days have started out awful! I have started a boycott against 94.7 and will not listen to the station until the JB and Sandy Morning Show is back on the air. As much as I hate music in the mornings, until they are put back on the air, I'll listen to CDs. I'm not going to give any of the lame morning shows out there a second of my time. Please, please, please, please, please, bring them back! We miss and love them so much!!!

They are the ONLY reason that my husband, friends, and I religiously listen to 94.7 The playlist isn't your biggest draw, they are. PLEASE reinstate them.

I can't believe that my favorite morning people were taken off the air!! I listened to the show every morning on my 15 mile drive to work and then continued to listen until 9 at work. The JB and Sandy show was listened to by not only myself but also my parents while they were at work. It is truly rare to find a show that your whole family can listen to and enjoy together. Please make the right decision and bring them back. At least bring them back to Austin where we still love them!! Mix 94.7 is definately not the same and it now gets turned down low at the office since I have nothing to listen to anymore. Please bring JB, Sandy, and Bess back! I don't like having to listen to cd's every morning now.

This is horrible. I have been listening to JB & Sandy since they FIRST started in Austin. I've listened while getting ready for High School...then in my dorm room, while I got ready for class...and now on my way to work. I've grown-up with them. My dad used to play hockey and I won his first tickets to the Ice Bats, with JB & Sandy. They've given me life long advice and were there to listen to me cry, when I told them I had my engagement called off the day before Sept. 11th. They've made me laugh, cry and sing out loud to the Mega Mix on Fridays. They lifted our spirits, when the whole world was deep in heartache. To let Austin down, by taking away our "Morning Glory" is WRONG. They are our coffe and our tea. JB & Sandy ROCK!

I was shocked comming back from spring break and hearing that they were off the air. I've tried listening to the other stations in the morning but they just not as good as JB & Sandy. I almost stopped listening all together when they moved to Dallas and Bridget was replaced. I definitly liked her better than Bess but this time I'm switching stations for sure. I feel the same way others do about no longer listening to 94.7 in the morning unless they're brought back. My morning drive isn't nearly as much fun.

I've been a loyal listener for many years now & really miss the show. I understand you are in negotiations to come back to Austin & I certainly hope that happens.

The move to Dallas was a big mistake. I know you obtained quite a few loyal listeners up there, but the suits tried to make you too big. JB & Sandy has always been such an outstanding show for the Austin community. I imagine the suits saw dollar signs in their eyes, and didn't do much to promote you up there. I could tell things were on the downfall soon after your move. You always seemed very tense & unsure of yourself. Shortly after, the format seemed to change to gain teen listeners. Fart jokes and prank calls simply weren't the JB & Sandy I always knew & loved. In Austin, you seemed free to speak your mind & very happy.

I can remember the fun days of "first time caller".... the mega mix.... "underwear".... soccer mom songs.... chains of love... and we can never forget Funky. I'm only 27 & don't have kids, but the show was always so funny & light hearted. You made my morning commute enjoyable! Who else can make me laugh out loud, driving alone in my car... looking looney tunes to the driver next to me?

I have heard from my sister in Dallas that Bess is still on the air. I disliked her at first, that annoying laugh just about killed me a year ago. But sure enough, I grew to love her. I think the radio station up there targets teens, and she will excel in that type of environment. But, she will surely be missed. Tim too.

Please excuse my novel of a message posting. I'm in hopes JB & Sandy will have the time to read it. Take care & know we are patiently awaiting your return to Austin. As you say... let's get-to-gettin!

I hope that the idiots at Infinity realize what a mistake they are making and bring them back. I am as outraged as the rest of you. There will never be another morning show for me. There is simply too much emphasis on the call ratings system and I can not believe that there is not someone smart enough or strong enough to realize this fact at that radio station. The only people who are polled are those that stay home and don�t really listen to morning radio. They are they people that aren�t smart enough to screen their calls and have nothing better to do than sit on the phone for 45 min with some stranger. How do I know? Because I took one of those rating calls when I was home sick one day. I had nothing else better to do. I have listed to JB and Sandy for the last 4 years. I have a horrible commute of 1 � hour each way and they have been my saving grace and possibly the reason that some people are still alive today due to my road rage. They make me laugh and bring a bright spot to my day. I will keep checking the station awaiting their return but until then I will no longer be listening to Mix 94.7. We all love you guys!!!

I just wanted to thank whoever it was that took off JB and Sandy. You ruined my Monday!!!!!!! Now I spend my drive to work flipping beween awful DJs, annoying commercials, and lousy music. If it wasn't for the traffic reports, I'd just listen to my CD's. I was absolutely sick when they moved to Dallas. Somehow, I had a feeling that would be the end of them. The gang always made me laugh, which put me in a good mood while stuck in Austin traffic. I'm going to miss their playful banter. They really were one of the best radio shows on. I appreciated the way they tried to be nice to everyone. Oh, well, I guess if they don't come back I'll just have to listen to KLBJ for the traffic! Good bye, 94.7!!

Mornings on 100.3 are really lame now. I have had to switch to 102.1 because it has the only half way decent morning show I've found so far. After I switch, my station pretty much stays on 102.1 because I'm too busy concentrating on work to listen to music. I love listening to JB & Sandy in the morning because they were funny and they broke the monotony that is radio.

I am very shocked that the best morning show around is no longer on the air!! I have never listened so faithfully to any show as I did JB and Sandy. Before I found them I would be very annoyed at all the talk, and I would channel surf until I found music. Then I found their show and became very annoyed at any music played and could'nt wait for the commercials to be over. I even hated to get out of my car to go into the office just because I would miss a few minutes. I know this must be a mistake. Well I guess I will be back to channel surfing for music until the mistake is corrected. Thank you JB and Sandy for all the laughs, you really made my day!

I put a message on this board not long ago and stated I would never listen to WILD 100 again unless they brought JB, Sandy and Bess BACK. And I have kept my promise!!! I have officially replaced 100.3 with 98.7 (wasn't much to replace in the car because they have all been taken by other stations). SO I AM BEGGING YOU TO PLEASE BRING THEM BACK SO I CAN LISTEN TO OTHER THINGS BESIDES RON CHAPMAN...

Even my 12 year old son makes sure we are not listening and we have not. Austin I know you have had them for a long time but you have to remember that we just got back JB and have missed him so much.

So let's look at the situation:

They took away the MEGA MIX
and now they took JB, Sandy and BESS

Let's all stick together and boycott both radio stations!!!

But nothing, except annoying Valentine and Tim. I do love Bess, but I can't accept her on the radio without the guys. I converted from Kidd K about 6 months ago, and I just cannot go back! What a bummer. I have been a JB & Sandy fan since moving to Austin 4 years ago. I thought they had only gone on vacation a couple of weeks ago to find them off the air. I am so disapointed. It is back to NPR for me. There's no reason to listen to 94.7 anymore. If the show is taken to another market, please let us know so that if we're visiting we can tune in. Good luck.

I have no idea what brought the suits to this decision, but it was the wrong one, the worst possible one! Surely, after reading all this mail they will realize how stupid they were? JB & Sandy were the only good morning show to listen to in Austin. There are others that will have to do, but none that made you sit in your car once at work so you wouldn't miss a thing, none that showed such compassion for their listeners, none that kept you tuned in since they day you first heard them. I have been out of town for Spring Break and am in total disbelief. I have been listening to JB and Sandy for four and a half years. I lived in very north San Antonio for the first two years and could barely make out the station--except in the morning. Then I moved to Austin and listened all the time. I thought that it was cool that they were playing in Dallas, so when I was up there during the week, I had something other than Kid Kraddick to listen to. Now Kid has infiltrated Austin and JB and Sandy are gone--what is wrong with this world. I used to go to work and crack up in the parking gargage and be late for work. The Friday mega-mix cracked me up--it was like going to my middle school socials--especially the 1991 mega-mix. Please bring JB and Sandy back--even if it is just to Austin--we miss them dearly and the drive to work seems so much longer.

We have all ready experienced the loss of control in our lives with the 9/11 attacks. Now you guys have taken away part of our extended family. More loss of control over our lives! I keep turning on the radio every morning to see if the "suits" have come out of their insanity and given us our friends and extended family members back. Every day I feel the pain of finding out they are still not there. I refuse to listen to the station now, it is the only form of control over the situation that I have. GIVE OUR FRIENDS BACK TO US!!!

When I saw this I could not believe it. I've been listening to Mix 94.7 since before JB and Sandy came aboard. I think the SUITS at Infinity/CBS have made a grave error here... JB, Sandy, Bess, and Tim are real people... they are the nicest, funniest, and careing people.... look what they've done for Austin and "Bikes for Kids".... If Infinity/CBS think they can play disposable people with JB and Sandy just like they did with Bridgit Taylor then I'm through listening. As of today my radio will be tuned to another station.

Farewell JB, Sandy, Bess, and Tim... you will truely be missed by all... everyone loves you guys and wants you back. I will never again listen to MIX 94.7 until you are back on the air.

Every morning I have the same routine. I get up, take a shower, get ready for work, get in my car and turn on JB, Sandy, & Bess. You have thrown a wrench in my routine.I am upset & sad. They have done wonderful things for wonderful people. Please bring them back. They have made lots of people laugh, Bess gives wonderful advice, and they brighten even the rainiest of days!! Several times I would catch myself driving and laughing at whatever funny things they were saying, then look over to the car on my right or left and find them laughing as well. Do the right thing....BRING THEM BACK!! We miss them. Mornings are not the same.

I was very disappointed to NOT hear JB and Sandy Monday morning. Then to hear the news about them not being on the air at all was very disappointing to say the least. I've commuted from San Marcos to Austin for the past three years and the only thing keeping me sane was their morning show. Every day I looked forward to listening to their stories. Now I've resorted to listening to music on another radio station. So sad there is no more JB and Sandy for us in Austin. BRING THEM BACK!

I started listening about 3 years ago, using my Walkman while I walked on the track. I hate exercise, but listening to them made the time go faster. On one of my walks I heard Funky in the UT classroom, being the guy we all hate--the one who asked stupid questions (yes, there is such a thing as a stupid question). I love/hate Sandy. Even though he wasn't my favorite, I found that we had several odd things in common and that endeared him to me. We have followed JB's "baby" stories with care and happiness and the baby came. We love their sidekicks (Tim, no matter what they said about you, you are still loveable!). What they did for several charitable events/groups was wonderful. Some things they did were maybe too goofy, but who am I to say. I loved the show, and I want to love it again. Bring them back, please.

So the Snobs of Dallas did not adopt JB & Sandy as maybe the money guys had hoped. Austin still wants them and we need their morning show. I found their show to be fun and refreshing in the am. My commute was much more pleasant because of them. As mentioned before, they have done a huge service to the city of Austin, the Lance Armstrong foundation and several other charities around town. I say if they want to come back to Austin and be the hometown heros, we will welcome them with open radios.

Please bring JB & Sandy back to Austin where they belong! The powers that be have made a huge mistake. If this is a marketing ploy, it stinks. How dare they do that to loyal listeners. There are no other morning shows out there worth listening to. I must admit, the move to Dallas had me questioning whether or not to keep listening. The show's format had a different feel but I got used to it after a while and kept my loyalty. Please rethink this unwise decision and bring the show back to MIX 94.7 in Austin, and while you're at it, bring back Bridget Taylor too.
