various parts for sale -- Richard Girard, 18:56:00 07/03/09 Fri

- 440cc (454) rotax engine. Engine was running when pulled out of a 1980 blizzard about 3 years ago.
- 521 cc Rotax engine. This was used in a drag racing sled. Engine is heavily ported. Hole in one piston. Clutch, carbs and stinger pipes are available as well.
- Aluminum drag racing skis (leaf)
- Comet 102c clutch. Almost new.
- Kawasaki 340cc free air twin plug engine.

1977 Moto Ski Sonic -- Gates, 22:36:23 06/25/09 Thu

1977 Sonic 340 for sale. No engine. Overall good cobdition. Track, suspension, muffler, speedo, and skis all very nice. Hood has a break (fiberglass) at lower left but still have the piece. Fiberglass belly pan is all good. Cab has been painted red. Wide stance. Looks like it could make a nice racing sled. $350.00

John Deere Snowmobile Parts Lot FOR SALE - Track, Hood, Slider, Handle Bars Etc -

WAS Asking $220 OBO for the entire lot. NOW ASKING $180 OBO

UPDATE - a fellow sled-head has helped ID the parts -

"You have a varied collection of parts there. The track is from a bogie wheel "100 series" machine, like a 400 or 500 for example. If it's an 18" track, it would be from a 73-75 600.

The handle bars are from a 76-77 Cyclone or Liquifire I belive. The suspension is 78 Cyclone/Liquifire. The hood looks to be 76-77 Cyclone. If you look at the very front were the red paint is chipped, it looks like the darker "Mean Green" color, vs. the bright 78 "Emerald Green".

The tank is 76-77 LF or Cyclone, as it does not have a tool box built into it. Belt guard and hood vent pannel look 76-77, as the 78's had an aluminum belt cover.

Not sure about the drive axle, as the white Gates sprockest are thowing me off. For some reason I am expecting 76-77 LF/Cyclone ones to be black with a 2.55" pitch. The 78's did not use the center idler, and the 78 440cc LF had a hex shaft."

I've been hanging onto this for a while but decided it's time to go. I've got a ski doo trunk bag. Its yellow leather with black writing and black and white stripes on top. This bag appears to have never been used or mounted on a machine for that matter.No rust or wear on buckles or straps. Very minor shelf wear here and there. I'd say it's NOS but am unsure. I'm asking $100 and can email pictures to anyone interested.

Hi -

Not sure of compression as I don't have a tester - but it runs strong and takes a bit of arm strength to pull it over.

It has an HD 22A carb on it.

The pictures pretty much speak for them selves. You will note some one systematically drilled holes in the hood for more air flow...they also did this to the LEFT side of the console. Seat is in nice shape. Track is good.

Sled has minor imperfections, but is a good nice original find.

Seems to run OK.

Comes with all the original literature (as pictured).

It is registered and comes with an ownership.

ASKING $950 Or Best Offer for this nice original machine.
