As the spokesperson for the rebel wannabes association of
Four Lands, I do understand and can appreciate when you're
comming from Malik. But, you're failing to grasp several
problems, with your theory of how to play the true and
honorable rebel. It's kinda not the players fault, that
there is problems with the wanted/soldier's in Kaiden. If
there wasnt any problems with this, you would have less
people killing your guards, and leaving equiping around on
the ground for newbies. So solution number 1, fix the
wanted code - and the npc soldiers. Number 2 - Four Lands
is a wonderful mud, with a absolute wonderful appeal and
mystery too it, but yet it doesnt seem to attract a whole
lot of players - like the other similar hardcore RP muds.
Due to this problem, it's kinda hard to get a variety of
different player organizations, starteted and stuff
happening - so sometimes players do drastic things to
attempt to change this, sometimes it works, and sometimes
it doesnt. Then we have the established chars like the
Centurions, for example a certain one who doesnt appear to
be playing quite that often - it's hard to lure a pc
centurion out when there is only one, and he only plays at
rare hours, for 5-10-30 min at a time, and then logs. Why
is this? Nothing there for him to do? Nothing to keep him
addicted, and keeping him logged in? You solve these
problems, and the pbase will rise - people wont kill your
guards, and leave equipment around, and it will be a more
enjoyable game for everyone.
