Subject: Just returned from paradise club Author: Neil & Linda Fell [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:55:09 01/10/06 Tue HI,we own week 52 at the paradise club,when we arrived the room has had nothing done to it at all.We have owned for 4 years and the maintenance has doubled in that time,wot we would like to know is what exactly is the committee getting out of it cos they seem to be doing jack s**t for the members,especially fixed week members.We had to have another mattress brought in for the sofa bed cos when you tried to sleep on it all you could feel were the bars.Then we had the call to go to breakfast which we did but with no intention of changing to points.We went to see the refit must admit they are lovely,but we were only with the rep about 15mins because of the questions we fired at him like when was E510 going to have anything done to it?his reply to that was because we are still a fixed week member it will be one of the last ones to be done which could take three years and it won't be to the standard of the show apartment.So we asked where our maintenance was going and he bluntly told us, to do all the refits for the points members.We also asked what about points members who use E510, if the room isn't going to be of clc standard won't they be disappointed,and his reply was, we put all the stragglers into those rooms that are still owned by fixed`week members. I think that says it all,THEY WILL NOT GET OUR FIXED WEEK NO MATTER WHAT WE WOULD RATHER SELL IT TO A PRIVATE COMPANY THAN GIVE IT BACK TO THEM. THEN I WOULD E-MAIL C/S AND GET THEIR REPLY IN WRITING AND POST IT ON HERE.IF YOU DID NOT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO TRACE WHO IT WAS. THEN SOMEONE CAN BRING IT UP AT THE NEXT AGM IN MANCHESTER AND GET A REPLY OFF TIM FIELD AND CO ABOUT THIS LOUTISH SELLING TECHNIQUE THEY USE AND IN THIS WAY IT WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF ALL MEMBERS BY BEING IN THE AGM MINUTES. I'm afraid I have about as much difficulty believing them as I do anythinmg CLC or their reps say which is just about in line with the possibility of George Bush winning the Nobel Prize for Peace! As regards the Reps out in Tenerife I merely advise them that I have better things to do than listen to their lies for 2 hours & tell them not to bother ringing back. The ruder you are unfortunetyly with these people the more effective the messsage seems to be. On the subject of withdrawl from RCI there is just no logic in this and it is merely another ill educated bluff from the reps. If CLC "pulled out" of RCI exchanges the supply of potential victims for conversion to CLC points from those on exchanges would dry up and surely everyone who currently owns weeks at CLC is wise to the fact that converting to CLC points is just chucking good money after bad.
