hi all
Did anyone happen to see the news story in this months RCI magazine that showed how a (large)timeshare company namely Sunset Beach Club can undertake the refurbishment of there resort that does look really good and plan too have it completed by this summer (2006). Having only started the refurbishment in 2005 how is CLC taking so long to carry out our program. Is it i wonder a way of them clawing more money from already fed up members points, weeks whatever you own and forcing owners to leave the resort.
I own three weeks at paradise and as recent as October none of my apartments have been refurbished is it because i am a weeks owner we will never know.Like everyone else i have lost count over the years to the amount of money i have paid towards this seeminly bottomless pit.
Please dont give your weeks back as you are only giving in to the crooks

it doesnot matter if you are set weeks or not because some weeks in the year in same appartment people have changed fixed to points so each appartment has both types of users. i had 2 weeks since 1993 and fed up same as yo, it gets past a joke. i also own 2 weeks at royal sunset beach club and you are right it is brought upto scratch all the time and refurbished often always replacing something. its kept in a beautiful condition always top class. last year all the studios were completely refurbished from furniture to patios to bathrooms everything they are really plush and this year they are doing all bathrooms in other appartment all brought up to date really modern AT NO EXTRA COST TO US MEMBERS pool as been redone and all surrounding area and all pipework changed[no extra cost] THE MAINTAINENCE IS A LOT CHEAPER TOO.I always loved Paradise but its getting out of control with the costs. there was a lot of major work to do so they closed the complex for 3 month and we all had to use their other complexes. nobody minded cause it got all the work done in a short time now we all benefit
