does anyone have any idea how much the transfer fee is if you sell your fixed week privately?

Try calling Customer services, or email them and they will tell you. They can be contacted via the www.clublacosta.com website.

I may be wrong but I think First National Trust were only involved when Paradise Club not owned by CLC. I have seen on another message board that the transfer fee is now £450.

Just received this e-mail from CLC on 19/4/06 -
"For the Transfer of Ownership to a third party to be completed, we require the following information and documents:-

1. Original Holiday Ownership Deed, duly signed on the reverse side “Form Of Surrender” by each current and new prospective owner(s).

2. A covering letter confirming the transfer request, including the complete full name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the new prospective owner(s).

3. All Management Charges paid upto date.

4. Payment to cover the legal and administration costs for the amount of £ 125.00, please make cheques payable to European Resort Management Ltd.Please can you send the above documents to the following address :

Upon receipt of all completed documentation the Transfer of Ownership can be processed.
