In reply to: Bev Ballagher 's message, "walking away?" on 13:31:01 11/16/04 Tue

Is this not the worst possible scenario? Investing hard earned cash on the promise of secured future holidays only to be left with two choices - pay up, or give up! No middle ground, no structured options, no regulated payments.
This sure cannot be allowed to continue.
I too have been informed that none payment will mean being 'thrown out' as a member of CLC for whic acceptance back into it will be by paying all outstanding fees and possibly those criminal surcharges. Why should any one of us have to give up what is rightfully ours to a group of legalised bandits?

According to the Constitution, It is clearly laid out the methods to be used for non payment of managment fees.
SURCHARGES ARE NOT ONE OF THEM.
The owners committee members and the 2 CLC members CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT THREATEN Owners with PUNITIVE SURCHARGES.
Should any Owner find themselves in a position that means the will need a little time to pay, I suggest they contact one of the OWNERS COMMITTEE REPS.
Should they be told they will have to pay punitive surchages, I suggest that they contact a solicitor with a copy of the Constitution.
