This is probably a very unethical reps way of getting people to convert to points. You are already paying a membership fee to the "Club" which is your maintenance fee.

I know reps tell more stories than Jackanory used to!! The rep in question was a "Paradise Club" expert but he didn't even know how much our management fees were. Plus have you noticed how bad their maths is (or should it be are??). No matter how often you say you pay less as a weeks member than if you were a points member, they always insist that their calculations prove that being a points member is cheaper.
The reps expected us to pay £2500 to change to points, i.e. pay twice for the week we already own!! We suggested that if they want everyone in points, then surely they should be making US an offer of cash to convert ... they didn't like that:-))

Please note everyone that the £2,500 is negotiable, certainly down as low as £1600
