One of the main reasons why CLC can up charges as much as they like is not enough owners complain, and the owner reps dont do anything when the charges are put to them, apart from agree.
I contacted the web site admin and asked how many owners had bothered to fill in a membership form, the answer was 124, now I am sure more than 124 owners know of this site and post messages on here, why have they not bothered to fill in membership forms.
There are possibly 4,000 - 6,000 owners at the Paradise Club.
That is the sort of numbers that are needed to fill in membership forms, then the owners would be able to do something about these high charges at the next AGM or even call for an Extraordinary General Meeting.
It is very clear to me that looking around the Paradise Club is one of the most expensive resorts in the whole of Spain, Portugal, Canary Isle's etc. WHY. We as Owners need an answer from our Elected Reps.
If you hav'nt filled in a membership form do so , and when you are at the Paradise Club spread the word about the web site, you could copy the URL and give it to people asking them to do the same, OR YOU CAN GO ON PAYING THESE HIGH CHARGES. Because until we have 1000's of OWNERS putting in strong complaints they will continue to RISE.
I can RENT a 1 Bed apartment in the Paradise CLub for £120pw less than I am paying in management charges.

What I wrote Pauline was that I can rent a 1 bed apartment for £120pw LESS than I am paying in management charges.
Which means that I can rent an apartment for £240.
I also tell people about the site but all the owners that know about the site need to spread the word.

On this very website there are two offers for rental at £250 per week. Go to RENTAL's and SALE'S and have a look at Ref 012 and 017.

We are owners @ the Paradise (1 x week, 1 x bed) and we didn't know anything about these "membership Forms", what are they?.
We only found this site today, it was posted by a member of the CLC members Forum. You are right, in 6 years nobody has ever mentioned this site before when we have stayed at the Paradise.
We agree with your comments also, the fees are certainly amongst the most expensive in Tenerife. A friend owns a 2 bed apartment and rents it out at £345 pw in high season so why are paying more for less room.
Our 2005 fees are £367 for 1 x week, need we say more.
