I think its about time Watchdog were informed of CLC's drive to rid itself of weeks owners. I am off to write to them regarding escalating fees to a level not comparable with other resorts, their eager willingness to take back weeks surrendered for anyone not happy, their reps statement that CLC would like all weeks owners to transfer to points, their repeated attempts to get weeks owners to transfer, their lack of response to e mails sent, their additional charges made when paying by Switch, their miserly exchange rate for maintenance paid in Sterling, threats to add exhorbitant surcharges for maintenance paid after end December, Resale companies refusal to take weeks at any price due to unacceptable maintenance fees. Come on folks, a few hundred letters might see Watchdog take an interest, then who knows?. Any other points I should put in my letter?

I think that is a good idea, how many will write to watchdog,
I believe it take's a large number of complaints to get them to do anything.
The points owners could also write in as thier charges have also gone up.

What I want to know is, how could our owner reps agree to such a huge increase, what possible justification can there be.

I also think we as owners should demand that a independant firm of accountants should look at the accounts on our behalf.

A agree with your sentiments, but I think that the publicity will be bad for owners wishing to sell and prevent more people from buying timeshare which is great ( providing that you are not managed by CLC)

I think that CLC have already achieved this. Paradise weeks are already unsaleable thanks to their aggressive pecuniary actions which is why so many members are giving their weeks away. Publicity may be the only way to get CLC to sit up and take notice. I have been a staunch supporter of timeshare for several years but lets face it, if CLC's way is the way of the future, timeshare is not something that I would reccomend to anyone now.
