J Lomax is right in saying that there have always been penalties for late payment, however, the last notification I have is from 2002 pre CLC days and the constitution appears to have been changed then to allow a 25% surcharge for fees still outstanding at 28 February, further 3% above base rate added to balances outstanding at 1st April, and repossession procedures commenced on 1st April on outstanding balances. CLC have taken it a step further!

That way all regular readers can lobby him in writing and make sure he understands that we think that he and his fellow committee members are doing an awful job and should start representing the owners interests not buckling under to CLC even if it does mean they get a free trip to tenerife !
