Tenerife is allways buzzing, thats because of the all year round sunshine.
As for the complex, there have been lots of improvments and no doubt more are on the way, I still believe the Paradise layout beats all other resorts.
I will be happy when ALL the apartments have been refurbished to the CLC standard, but somehow I believe that is a long way away, despite what we are being told.
CLC seem to be more interested in showing prospects around those they have done up.
I have seen 2 different apartments that CLC have refurbished,
A 1 bed that is at one standard, yet very nice and much improved on the old Para refurb one's.
The other was a penthouse that has been converted to a 2 bed, now this is very, very nice and the standard I believe ALL the apartments should be, the old usless round bath has been been removed and a nice whirlpool bath put in, much more sensible and a least you can fill it up to have a bath, also a separate shower.
Plus a small jacuzi on the balcony, a real touch of class :)All new quality balcony furniture, again very nice.
Also that silly breakfast bar has been removed ( not in the 1 bed ) and a nice table and chair set put in it's place. If I was looking to buy more weeks and CLC would guarantee that every apartment would be at this standard , then I would not hesitate to buy more, they have done a QUALITY refurb on this one, just a pity the 1 bed was not of the same standard. BUT you can only have this apartment if you have lots and lots and of points??, had to be a catch somewhere.
Considering the outrageouse amounts we are paying in managment charges, CLC priorty should be to bring all the apartments up to the penthouse standard, then it would really be Gold Crown.
May I suggest that if you are at the Paradise Club have a look at the Penthouse, but dont let it persude you to convert to points|:):)
Just a thought estimating that it would cost £10,000 to bring each apartment up to the Penthouse standard, that would mean only £192.30p per week owned on a 52 week basis.
I would be happy to pay that for that standard.
Why have 2 different standards when you can be TOP standard.
So come on CLC food for thought, oh! and perhaps our management members might think and do something about this , we know you read the comments on here even if you remain silent.
Marriott have set the standard, CLC are a long way off.
