>You sound as if you dont like PC I dont know why. OK the maintainance as gone up far too much, but. there is nothing wrong with the complex, it gets better all the time. We go 2/3 times a year since 1993 and its great, we always have a very good time. You obviously are not doing the correct things and not looking at your complex. If you say appartment allocated , don't you own fixed weeks , or you would know exactly where you was staying ? Thats the beauty of fixed weeks, its yours and always the same. Never change to points. The new Fanabe area is now a few years old and its great there as well.

I am off to PC in 5 weeks in a two bedroom apartment,

Not sure what you mean by "is it busy". There were a lot of people staying in the apartments when we were there in October, and, of course, Tenerife itself always seems to be busy. The Tai restaurant just down the hill was still open. Don't actually remember being accosted by hustlers as much as we used to be, only by people trying to entice you into their restaurants which didn't bother me. The Fanabe area is lovely and you can walk along the promenade in that direction for quite a long way. There are some gorgeous hotels along that stretch and there must not be as many English staying there as it definitely looks more upmarket!!

The meals at The Paradise Club restaurants are reasonably priced - not exactly cordon bleu cooking but we had no complaints the times when we ate there.

I feel it is an attractive complex and really no need to escape all the time from it!! It appears to be well run and it is very disappointing to hear that it has lost even its Gold Crown and RID status.

glad more people agree what a nice complex PC is even if its costly and not all refurbishment done yet. but its getting there slowly. You cant take it away from PC its still the best . You should stick to fixed weeks and not points. Hope everyone takes heed.
