Just returned from PDC and unfortunately this time for the first time the weather was awful. Our apartment we were told had been refurbed to Paradise standards. They told us they were progressing with the CLC refit but to be frank it is going to take a long time. Lots of selling going on the sales reps were showing people round all the time and I noticed a lot of Russian potential customers around. One very annoying point was I overhead a salesman telling a potential client that they should not talk to any people who were staying at the resort only to him !. I was going to pull him up on it but decided not to bother. Still a lot of hustlers on the streets with thier horrible attitudes but one good thing about so many Russians is that if you completely blank them they can't tell if your a Russian who can't speak English so they give up quite easily. Another point when the weather is bad PDC could do with a little heating ! the apartment got very cold at night indeed.

I also have not long returned from PC and yes you are right lots of Russians being shown around.
They only show them the best apartments, not the one's they have not re - furbished.
Is it any wonder the rep told them not to speak to anybody, they would all be on the next flight home.:)

Perhaps we should let President Putin know what's going on :)

Hi

We own at another resort in Tenerife with a very mixed international ownership including Russians, Israelis, French and Italians as well as the UK.

We feel that this makes for a more interesting holiday and doesn't detract from the resort but adds to it. However I would agree that CLC seems to be keen on decrying the owners by not allowing the potential buyers an opportunity to speak to people that already own.

Could it be that they are afraid of what we would say? Can't think why that would be!!

We're visiting Tenerife in August but staying elsewhere. As owners are we allowed to use the Paradise Club facilities during the weeks we don't own?

Regards

Splot
