Be careful of the bears--- my late uncle Don was an outfitter back before WW-2, in Alaska. From what my grandmother once said, an hungry bear can be mean, and she was serious about the word "mean." They can be fast and agressive.

A question: I believe Canada has passed rather restictive laws regarding carrying a weapon. And it may now be illegal to kill a bear.???
