Jim, You say you are basing this arbitrary conclusion on "what info you can find" and "asking lots of questions" about the X-5? How do you "carefully study" a spec sheet, or determine what a machine "might" or "probably" will do based on that? Am I missing something here? From what I understand, the X-5 has not even hit the market yet. How can you come to any conclusions without handling the machine, or if you have, please share some specific experiences that you are basing your opinions on here. Who are you asking the questions of, and have they used the machine yet either? It sounds to me like some serious attempts at damage control going on here. If anyone, especially a White's dealer, is that worried about the competition, I'd have to look into things and satisfy my own curiosity. I don't know about the rest of you here, but I have no desire to dig anything in the sub-grain category. Think about it. It would take 480 or so one grain "nuggets" to equal a single ounce. Nice exercise, but I'd rather find something a bit more substantial. There are limits you know, even with gold. Bill
