I picked up my Gold Strike today. I have removed only the Operating Manual to study. I felt the video very good but somewhat disappointed in the manual.

I will not take the detector out of the box for my next step until I feel confident with the video/manual.

Your remark about taking--- disabling the tracking--- to increase the gain and adjust the threshold--- may be a "key."
