Hi Steve , Ralph and All

I have played with and bought the hot shot 12" coil . In air tests between the goldmax and the hot shot the hot shot had a couple inch advantage over the goldmax . But in the real world it was making noises with every blade of grass bumped or even subtle movements . I found it to noisy to distinguish the deeper more softer targets . I believe there is still hope for the design but it will take some modification to stabilize it !!!! I've returned the coils I bought but the manufacturer said he was going to beef one up and send it too me !! I ain't seen it yet !!! Happy Huntin John B.
