Regardless of my sarcastic commentary (for those on my twitter page), I had fun watching "Layover". Good job to all the actors involved in this movie. Hope everyone else enjoyed it regardless of not enough Joe. :oP Good night, folks!

Love,
Heather

Totally agree with not enough Joe! I wish the part had been meatier, but I will always support any title he appears in. Mr. Lando's work on Spotlight and The Secret Circle (which is now on Netflix) really showcased his ability to portray a wide spectrum of emotions. I hope he gets many more opportunities to strut his stuff!

Hi Everyone,

I hope Joe reads these messages. I really liked the moving and think Joe and the rest of the cast did a great job. The dog was adorable. Good job, Joe.

Take care,
Nancy in Indiana

Am I missing something? Has Spotlight been on television?

No, Spotlight has never been on TV, but it was available for free viewing for a while through Joe's website. I don't know if you can still see it there now or not. He was great! Spoiler alert: it does include a few expletives.

I actually saw Spotlight when they had the premiere showing with the cast watching. It was on the internet and then the ask and answer segment followed. I had a question asked of Joe about having or knowing someone who has or had used a body guard. I hope it is still available on this site to see it. Joe was fabulous.

I had a great time talking with you Heather on Twitter during the movie and thought your comments were funny. I would also agree that the role of Elliot wasn't very exciting, but I was so glad Joe played this part instead of some unknown actor. I think he did great with what he had to work with. We all know Joe isn't a stranger to playing characters who are there to serve and protect. And he sure looks great in a suit, especially with a blue shirt! I loved the action at the end of the movie where Joe got to actually do some running while shooting a gun. He is in great shape running up those stairs the way he did to the roof of the building. I held my breath a couple of times when the bad guys started shooting back at him, hoping he wouldn't get shot or worse, die. I was disappointed however in the end of the movie because I feel the audience deserved to see the Boss from Hell thank him for saving her life. Oh, and a side note - I kind of missed the facial hair he had as Blackwell.

Such a small role for Joe. He's talented. Why such a small role? I don't get it.
