Joe Lando is an actor that can morph the character he is playing until he thinks it is right. Sometimes he changes the way the character he is playing moves. I have watched his movies and TV shows and saw the actor's skill grow.

He even goes back to characters or situations. In tonight's episode, his daughter tells him he cannot do what he says because he is not her dad. If you remember, in Dr. Quinn Brian tells Sully he is not his Pa.

His performance tonight was so good. He played a strong character and made you believe it would be hard to put anything over on him. He also used the beard and mustache as part of his new appearance.

You belong in the show. Good Luck.

I could have answered this question if it only asked how carring and helpful Joe could be, However, it asked for other information.
Since I joined the forum, I have been reading materials that have been left. These articles and materials will give the reader a good insite on what Sully can do in a movie or TV series. You will learn that Joe can play in many genres.
I hope you see that Joe can play in many stories as well different characters.

The episode with Blackwell being "burned" by the witch hunters was the best since the pilot. Adults badly needed on the show, no matter how nefarious they may be. Lol! Hope you do some scenes with Gale, the adult favorite by far! I think the chemistry would work well. Looking forward to more of your performance and hope you become recurring and frequent and that they don't make your character suddenly nice! We need some big bad on the show.

Really enjoyed watching Joe in Spotlight last night, especially the q&a afterwards. It was great to see him. Loved the new look too. Of course it really doesn't matter. Buckskins or jeans, scruff or clean shaven, glasses or not, hats or hatless, he's still a class act. Would be great if Spotlight could continue on as a series.

Just watched the two new episodes of The Bay. Don't know about you guys, but Paul Satterfield doesn't hold a candle to Joe. Only started watching because of Joe, but don't think I'll continue now. Really hope we get to see Joe in something soon. Until then, guess I'll have to get my Joe fix from DQ dvds as well as GMC and INSP.

Here's a question about DQMW. I hope someone out there will know the answer. I read someplace that Jane Seymour was a last minute choice to play Dr. Quinn. There had been another actress lined up who backed out at the last minute. Does anyone know who that other actress might have been? I can't imagine the dynamic between Joe Lando and anyone else playing Dr. Mike.

This is where the DVD set of Higher Ground is being sold. Looks like great reviews. Considering ordering it though it looks decent on YouTube, but I would like to have it to view on the set. These DVDs are for all families w/ kids. Thanks for being a part of it. Wish the series had continued. Today it or something like it would with DVR....... Back then the age group that would have best enjoyed it and wasn't home to watch it and couldn't DVR it.......

Just wondered if there was any news on Spotlight or William Shockleys film that Joe did, would love to know when Spotlight will be available to watch and how we can watch it.

I was also wondering if Joe was upset at not getting DWTS or if there was any new roles he is going up for, it feels like a while since we have heard from him about what he is doing and I know you only know when he calls you but thought I would ask.

Judy, I know Joe wants quality shows and from what a gather doesn't want to be real famous, but with all the new shows this fall, I can't help wander why he did not audition for some of them. You only live once, so put your heart in soul into everything Joe. So get out there and get noticed. I would really like to see you with an emmy or golden globe real soon. You CAN DO IT. The CBS Channel in the uk are starting to show Dr Quinn from the 29th of August, no time was stated,
Maybe they will show all the 6 series for those who have not seen them will be able to see them, instead of finishing at the end of series 4 as itv3 do,

Just a brief note that Engaged to Kill starring Joe is on the lifetime movie network, sunday night 8/14/11 at 10pm and is repeated at 2am on monday 8/15/11 morning. I really wish this movie would come out on DVD here in the USA. I don't understand why it hasn't been.

Just saw on the BAY the Series Facebook page that taping starts this coming Thursday for Season 2. I sure hope Joe is still part of the soap. I do see from time to time other fans mentioning they are looking forward to Joe's scenes, and finding out more about Lee Nelson, the character he plays. With the ABC soaps going to internet now, maybe the Bay will be a stepping stone into the web for Joe to possibly be on one of them, if he wants to do it. I would love to see Joe in anything on a daily basis.

I saw on TV last night that Dr. Quinn is moving to the INSP Channel at the end of August, week nights from 5 to 7 p.m. I don't know if this means it will be leaving GMC, but if not, we can watch it either place. I can understand the frustration about any news on an actor. The site is well maintained. But, you wonder....if they want to be in the business don't you give up a part of you. When I see one of his movies and know that he is a very excellent actor with amazing presence I wonder WHY hasn't he been in a major movie. I see on the site he makes alot of small movies or online " The Bay Series". What about TV, movies anything that doesn't require a computer. I am just saying what I feel. Hopefully it won't be taken as a bad moment :)

Although you have some new material, most of the site is not up to date. The articles were posted by Joe in 2010, we are half way through 2011. I come back about once a week hoping to see some new material. I am aware of his new project with Kickstart, and have pledged some money. How about getting joelando.org more current?

I belong to a forum called graces-cafe.net, and it is a bunch of people from all over the globe, who got together in 2008, and formed a site dedicated to the DQMW series and all its cast and crew. We have a huge following, its is current and I make a stop every day. Even Jack's video with Buddy was shot in 2006! That is over 4 years ago. Just a die hard fan who wants more, more, current, of Joe and his life, love and happiness...Sylvia

I wonder I have been checking this site for months, and still no more newer updates since 2010! This is not what we want to hear about Joe Lando. He is loved by millions of women for his roles in DQMW, and other of his movies. It is frustrating to check out this web page and be greeted by the same old stuff that is no newer than 2010! Please update if only to say hello and some current photos of Joe. Thanks, Sylvia
