This is a poem my Parents gave us on our wedding day 16 years ago. I hope you enjoy :)


How To Create The Perfect Family

You will need:
1 large house
3-6 people, depending on how long you want to wait for it to be done
3 cups of pets
2 cups of patience
3 ounces of anger/frustration
3 quarts of laughter
4 teaspoons of trust
And last but definitely not least,
Lots and lots of love

First, open the house, and make sure that it will be the right size for your family. Mix the desired amount of people with the pets, carefully so you don’t damage them. In a separate bowl, stir the love and laughter together. Set aside. Taking each person separately, evenly distribute the patience and trust, making sure that each one gets an equal amount (Failure to distribute evenly may lead to different recipe! See recipe for “My impatient family” for details…). Carefully open the bottle of anger/frustration. Using a Q-tip, dab small portions of the anger/frustration onto each person. Lastly, take the love and laughter and sprinkle it all over the house, pets, and people. Let sit until all parts of the recipe are thoroughly combined, and voila! Your Perfect Family is complete.

Sorry it has been a while since I have been on but my state has been hit hard the last month and I have been busy. This past week has been devastating because of the outbreak of tornadoes and wind damage. Tuscaloosa Alabama was hit the hardest. Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts as we fight to recover and find our missing loved ones. By the way what is new with Joe Lando and his family lately? Ihave raised a little money for ST. Judes as well. I hope I can keep it up.

Received the complete set of Dr. Quinn for Christmas. Also watching on GMC. Recently I received copies of Higher Ground. My husband and I watch one or two episodes in the evening. I did not have an opportunity to see this show when it aired in 2000. This is a fantastic show, we both thoroughly enjoy watching.

I have to comment that it is a shame that we cannot do something to get Higher Ground released on dvd. I have not seen anything like this show for a long time. It is never too late.

How exciting that Spotlight is finally going to be seen online. Thanks for sharing the evite Judy. Do you know if Joe will be going to the "premiere"? I am like some other fans, anxious to get his opinion about the final production of it all. I hope it won't cost much to view it once it is released to the public. This is one short film I am really hoping to see because not only is Joe one of the main characters, but I like the premise of the plot.

I understand that you grew your hair for your part on DQMW. And you looked fabulous with shoulder length hair. What I don't understand, you made a comment once that you could not play a banker with long hair. Your persona on DQMW with the longer hair made you famous, as well as your acting abilities. Willie Nelson has long hair and it never stopped him from all kinds of roles on TV and the Movies. Steven Segal still has a show on tv and his hair has been long for years it never stopped him from getting movie/tv roles of any kind. My question to you, Joe is? Why if you look so fabulous with longer hair, that you would not take the opportunity to make more movies for television with your hair just a little longer? Not only would you get more work, you would really make your fans, and I have been a fan since OLTL, so happy and you would be the STAR your really are...after all your persona even before DQMW you had some longer hair and you looked fabulous, you also got the role in DQMW...and you are a really good looking, hunk! Please consider just letting your hair grow to shoulder length...try it for a while and see the movie parts flow in to your life like the great actor you really are!!! Sylvia

Hi Guys

I've just heard about the terrible earthquake that hass hit Japan this morning. It measured 8.9 and sent a massive Tsunami with it. So far they say that 32 people are missing, but that the number will go up.

This tsunami is now heading towards New Zealand and the other small islands in the area.

I send my sympathies to all those that have been injured or have lost someone in this terrible tragedy.

I remember that Kirsten is originally from New Zealand. I want to say my heart and prayers are with her and the country that had the massive 6.3 magnitude earthquake that just happened. Hi. I have a question regarding the ep. Point Blank. I am either dreaming or lossin it. I just watched it yesterday at the end Loren is the one at the door and all is ok with Dr. Mike. Just wanted to let those of you that live in the UK and get ITV3 know that ITV3 have been very busy and have also got the rights to show Season 4 which starts next week.

These episodes have never been shown over here and even though I am fortunate to have them on DVD, I still love to watch them on TV too, but I'ma also so thankful for those of us that do not have the DVD's.

Meteor Apocalpse was on skyfi channel friday the 18th of feb, i am sorry to say i did not like it very much.nothing against joe it is not my type of film i found it a bit depressing,sorry ladies,but i am loving Dr quinn all over again.

Yippee ! DQ pilot film is on air today at ATV. Hopefully they will continue.

thank you judy for the alert on the joe lando movies and films that are coming on. can you tell me where i can buy the dvd blindness. the uncut version. i was watching seeds of doubt and there was a lot cut out of it. it is my friends dvd andi know there was scenes not on that cd. do you have all the movies for sell on here or might know where i can get them. thanks for the updates and you do an excellant job on here.

Hi Guys

Just to let you all know that not only is our favourite guy on the planet on our UK TV in Dr Quinn Today, but we also can enjoy him in both Shockwave on Movies4men at 8.10pm and again at 9.10pm on movies4men+1 but also in Meteor Apocalypse on Movies 24+ at 8.pm.

As a fellow Canadian I had trouble yesterday seeing the clips as well but restarted my computer and it worked just fine. Try that. As someone who can't see the movie on TV the clips have been wonderful to watch.
