I am not going to assume the answers to questions. I looked up the ratings for The Secret Circle and it was rated a B+. There were two B+'s on the list. This was for a week in May. They also have demo ratings which tells how much money the series makes.

Are the producers evaluting The Secret Circle to run for a second season. Deciding who is going to live and die? If they had problems with the show, why didn't they start some changes before Joe came. When he arrived the series just took off. Did this surprise the producers? I have talked to people on Joe's WebPage and they agree.
He was originally hired for 3 episodes. Now he is working until the end of the season. He must have impressed someone.

I really don't know what the ratings are but they are generally a low-rated network, with their most recent programming for the female teen & tween demo. I read that they have new pilots they want to test before they make their decisions on most of their shows like TSC, Nikita, et cetera.

They are low rated network cause they don't promote their shows enough. I've seen on twitter that fans don't know when "Nikita" is on half the time. As well as half the population in this country doesn't even know what CW Network is. I mean, on my cable, CW is labeled "WXOW-DT2" on my channel listings & it took me a couple weeks to figure it out. Lol

Yeah thats true...they tend to promote "Gossip Girl" TVD a lot more than Supernatural TSC etc.

CW is still a "young" channel...well its been only around for 5/6 yrs. I think if the merger between WB and UPN didn't happen, it'd (WB...assuming TSC might've aired on it since its a WB TV studios show) probably be on the same level as Fox is now. Like when Fox was a newbie in the late 80s

Dawn Ostroff left CW (she was president of Entertainment) a year ago and I think she was primarily the reason why they aimed at the teen/female market. The new guy is Mark Pedowitz (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/mark-pedowitz-named-president-cw-183298) and I think he and Dawn (well she helped transition him into the position) greenlit TSC last yr. I heard/read he wants to diversify the programming for CW...make it broader other than have it aimed at the teen/female demographic.

Hopefully he's been impressed with TSC ratings even though they tend to fluctuate (it went up for "Curse" but decreased for "Sacrifice") and some TVD viewers tend to switch to another channel (well not a good lead-in for TSC). Comparing the ratings between Hart of Dixie and TSC (I think Ringer is a goner) TSC seems to be doing well.

It was a merger between CBS(C) & the WB(W), I think. I believe UPN became MyTV, mostly syndicated reruns. I think the programming on the CW is similar to the old WB, which I enjoyed, Veronica Mars, Buffy, Angel. I enjoy Nikita & The Ringer, TSC, and I watch something else, can't think of the name right now, I used to like the show Britt Robertson was on last year. Joe is good as John Blackwell. I think all the parents are evil. I think the others aren't as connected because they were trying to hide the witch thing and didn't know the kids knew they were witches and formed the circle. John came in to a different situation and I think he is after the Crystals just like the other parents.

Oh yea thats right..UPN=MyNetwork, MyTV etc. I always tend to think CW and UPN merged because UPN shows migrated to WB/CW (like Veronica Mars...LOVED that show too) lol. Yeah I mainly watch MyNetwork for syndicated shows like The Big Bang Theory and King of Queens.

I did watch that Life Unexpected but didn't really like Britt's character...she annoyed me sometimes lol.

I really do LOVE her scenes with Joe...the father/daughter dynamic and thought it was cute when he asked her on a mini-golf date.

I agree that it's probably because of all the JOE LANDO FANS, that The Secret Circle's ratings have jumped more. If John Blackwell dies, I see the show dying as well. He has one heck of a presence on television. And thanks to The Secret Circle, Joe is starting to get a younger crowd to discover him.

I am not a huge fan of the new "Nikita" to be honest. The only episodes I do watch are of the guest starring of Alberta. It's just not the same as "La Femme Nikita". (Another show I just LOVE that Alberta Watson also guest starred on in the later 90's..)
