Cloak, Uncloak
The second part of our ABC Family campaign is a little different. A very generous fan (who wishes to remain anonymous) has donated a sum of money to help us bulk mail a single item to the network. Being the option where you get the most bang for your buck, we have decided to mail coins to ABC Family’s offices in Burbank, California. Why coins? Well, if you remember Grandpa Conant’s cloaking coin, you’ll understand why. Our premise behind this part of the campaign is that The CW has cloaked our favorite show from television, and we need someone to uncloak it. We’re hoping that’ll be ABC Family.
You’re probably wondering how the delivery of these coins will happen. We’ll be talking with our shipper and supplier to determine a way the items can be delivered so that a few fans can be there when the delivery happens. The fans will video tape the delivery and then we’ll share it with all of you. We’ll also share the delivery with news outlets that can cover “Save Our Show” campaigns. This delivery is scheduled to take place next week. If you live in California and live close enough that you could make the drive to Burbank to take part in the delivery recording, then please email us at savethecircle@gmail.com.
In order for this to happen and happen on time, we need a little fan assistance. Though our donor is willing to pay for the initial sum of the bulk mailing, we’d like to have fans donate to help make the bulk mailing larger, as well as pay for the shipping. At this time, shipping for the mailing we have on order now is $70. If 14 fans offer to pay $5, our shipping costs would be covered. The cost to add 100 coins to our bulk mailing is $2.80. If a fan donates $10, that’s an additional 1,000 coins we can add to our delivery. Before we add any coins to the mailing, however, we will need shipping costs covered.
