Joe Lando is an actor that can morph the character he is playing until he thinks it is right. Sometimes he changes the way the character he is playing moves. I have watched his movies and TV shows and saw the actor's skill grow.

He even goes back to characters or situations. In tonight's episode, his daughter tells him he cannot do what he says because he is not her dad. If you remember, in Dr. Quinn Brian tells Sully he is not his Pa.

His performance tonight was so good. He played a strong character and made you believe it would be hard to put anything over on him. He also used the beard and mustache as part of his new appearance.

You belong in the show. Good Luck.

Actually, Joe has a bit of experience with characters who has a child who sort of feels he wasn't the best dad. In the movie Devil Winds, his daughter played by Erica Durance, Parker at the time, is angry at him for making them leave Oklahoma after a twister kills her mom. In Killer Flood, again he has a son who hates him for leaving his mom and him. Joe makes you believe the hurt he feels when each of those characters are yelling at him that they could live without him. Especially when I am pretty sure his real children love him to pieces and are happy to have him as a daddy.

I think Joe made John Blackwell real and I am looking forward to seeing more of him in The Secret Circle.
