Received the complete set of Dr. Quinn for Christmas. Also watching on GMC. Recently I received copies of Higher Ground. My husband and I watch one or two episodes in the evening. I did not have an opportunity to see this show when it aired in 2000. This is a fantastic show, we both thoroughly enjoy watching.

I have to comment that it is a shame that we cannot do something to get Higher Ground released on dvd. I have not seen anything like this show for a long time. It is never too late.

Thank you for giving us such great family entertainment.

Penny, you are so right. WE do need Higher Ground on DVD, or on cable television with a new home. This show wasn't given the proper respect by the network it originally aired on. Joe is fantastic in it. I believe more seasons of HG would have put this show on the map and I believe emmys and other awards would have fell into their lap.

Hi, People! I do wish we'd seen "Higher Ground" in the UK - it sounds fantastic - is there anything we could do to get it released on DVD? Jennifer x x x

Where did you obtain copies of Higher Ground? I too received Dr. Quinn series. And have enjoyed watching it again. Just finished Season 2.

Tessa,

I was given a copy from a friend who had recorded it directly from the tv. Of course, the quality and sound is not as professional, and the picture sometimes fades out. All in all, it is still enjoyable and a fantastic show.

If Higher Ground is ever released on dvd, I certainly would want to purchase a copy. I think young people could benefit from this.

I just finished watching Friday's episodes of Dr. Quinn on GMC. My husband always asks why I watch Dr. Quinn on GMC when I have the DVD set. Somehow, it is just more fun to watch when you know everyone else is watching!!!

Have a great evening.

you can catch Higher ground on youtube. To be quick, just do a search on Higher Ground Episode 1; or you'll get a bunch of other stuff.

That is a shame Jennifer, I watched all the episodes on Youtube and I agree with everyone else it was such a worthwhile series, it was a shame that Fox cancelled it, I wish another chanel had the forsight to pick it up as it deals with such situations for kids.

It should be on DVD so we could all buy it but I presume it maybe quite expensive to market it on DVD and to try and sell it.

We have things like that here in the UK but not as good as Higher Ground.

Love
Sheens xx

I also watched Higher Ground on You Tube and it was an excellent series it is a shame they cancelled it. Wildfire is now showing here in the UK but it is only Series 1 and I think Joe only joined in Series 2 but will have to wait and see.
