The Fifth has every thing to do with it, the right to a speedy and public trial, an impartial jury by the state...to confront witinesses against the accused, to be imformed of the nature of the accusation.

And you're right on the Sixth, I meant the Seventh, excessive bail, fines and punishments prohibited.

The Supreme Court already ruled against Bush on his supposed power to declare people enemy combatants, they they do have rights to be represented and be imformed of charges against them and these miltary tributals are illegal, that Bush may be a Commander in Chief, but he IS not the Supreme Ruler and even the mighty Bush has to obey the Constitution.

If you knew your history at all you would know the press would tear into politicians and policies far tougher than the weak-kneed press we have now.

Now tell us how we're winning in Iraq, btw...explain that to the soldiers that were ordered today to stay for an extended tour. Remember that promise Rummy made about rotating the troops, seems it was taken out of context and he is just rotating them in and out of Iraq. Mission Accomplished II.
