CCIs tend to have more submissive and trainable temperaments then ACCs. I like CCIs better for this reason, but ACCs are still very trainable (more then a shepherd in my opinion), and I wouldn't say ACCs are good for first time dog owners or for dog owners that can't control a dominate dog, however, the CCI is still a mastiff breed, so also not good for first time dog owners. ACCs don't really fit the Itailian standard at all, and CCIs fit the standard much more closely, but some Italian breeders do bred them like boxers. It is true that CCIs are more athletic. My perference is the Italian version because 1.They are more submissive to their owners, 2. A well bred CCI fits the standard more closely then an ACC. That is all I have to say, bye.
P.S can you post a pic of your ACC? I would love to see.
