Until I closed my businesses down recently I managed companies involved in construction and land development. I designed and built more than 200 original homes over the last 20+ years. I've designed and built a half dozen small commercial buildings, laid out and contructed the design for more than 8 million sq.ft of commercial roofs and designed and supervised the installation of 8 residential land developments.

My degree is not in architechture, although I was twice named the architech of the month by a regional architechtural magazine. My degree is in microbiology and chemistry. I got into the construction business originally by getting involved in helping my mother with her business. a business which was primarily real estate with a little construction and land development. I switched the emphasis after I took over. My father had a business producing commercial construction products. He introduced me to commercial roofing and construction.
